Looks like the same trash released when the movie was released.

Well, at least these will probably be easy to find because nobody really cares about Tron the movies and probably just want to try Tron the ride.

They look different to me. Hard to tell from the one pic. The bikes look stumpier than the originals.

I hope that Tron disc glows in the dark...

So now marks 41 years that disney will allow TRON to keep failing. They've got to get merch that people actually want and make it available outside of their stupid parks. It's not hard. Especially with their level of hemorrhaging capital.

I like the original tron movie but did not like legacy and the only legacy figure that anybody wanted was quorra. Evidently disney did not learn the first time around that the majority doesn't want tron legacy merchandise.

That's the most "No duh, of course!" re-purpose of an item I can recall. The animated faces on the Spin Master figures were nifty, but having it be your own face and voice? That's dope. Still no female body, though, and it looks like they're leaving the arms and lower legs unpainted to accommodate the color choice.

Stuff like this make me think Hasbro should be picking up random licenses like Tron purely to give their Selfie Series a kick in the butt.

I like the Super7 Reaction figures. They're clearly much more true to the original movie than the Tomy ones. Surely they will release a translucent set of them as well though...

The only thing Legacy did wrong was never following up with a sequel.

Actually, the one everyone wanted was the incredibly limited Castor figure, of which only about 300 samples were released into the wild.

My personal favourite was CLU, though. Such a badass design, and the inclusion of a light sword upped the desirability considerably.

Oh sweet! Always good to see new TRON merch! I've always wanted a disc that looks like the ones in the 82 movie. This all looks pretty cool!

Flynn did an interview recently and I know he said the figures can sit in the cycles better? I don't know how they were originally but he made mention of that.

I'm pretty sure they do, or the figures themselves? I forget but he mentioned it recently.

The Lightcycles are not taken from the original TOMY molds. I'm still not getting them though.

Yeah, for the original lightcycles they're sitting in them like theyre sitting in a car. And these new ones they're in the vehicle as if they're on a motorcycle, like in the movie.

Anyone else notice that Tron and Flynn share the same head mold like they did with the Tomy figures? Except now its way more obvious since they're in movie accurate colors.

I'm pretty sure you layed the figures down in the old cycles too - they just didn't fit very well.

Very interested to see what these look like up close...

There just doesn't seem to be enough clearance for the torsos on the Tomy figures to fit the other way.

Sold out already. Ridiculous. These as well as the carded figures should be easily available for us to get instead of short stocked on Disney's site or offered only at the parks. Hopefully Super7 eventually offers them thru their own online store or BBTS/EE/etc.

Do we even know at this point if the Lightcycles can open? These look really stubby compared to the TOMY ones.
