So, anyone care to speculate what's holding up the toys for Voltron Force? The show airs in just a couple of months, yet we've seen squat from Mattel on the toys. What are your thoughts on this, is Mattel screwing the pooch here or are they simply be extremely secretive?

Voltron Force - Forum

that's official Voltron.com Forum for the show. The show airs "Spring" 2011 on Nicktoons.

Here are some pics:

Holy crap Joe I didn't even know pics were out, thanks! Id like to think it will be a sleeper hit, like their WWE line, they were pretty quiet about it for a while, letting out a few teasers before January 1st 2010, and it turned out to be way better than Jakks' line. They do have an idea of what fans want too, having brought over the godaikin and jumbo shogun warriors way back. Hopefully they'll. Make good on this license.

This is News to me also. Hopefully we can finally get a Voltron that's not a Brick. I want some Dynamic Articulation.

Just saw this, I guess we will have to wait until Comic Con 2011 to see the Goods.

We actually reported about Mattel getting the license nearly a year ago.

So judging from the last qna answers, I doubt these will have diecast. Full articulation is a must. Ratchet joints would be much appreciated. The MPC Voltron is the most recent transformable toy, and a decent one at that, I have the plastic version. Hopefully Mattel can surpass it.

let's have some bits vac metalized while they are at it!

i thought the mpc version was pretty decent as well but i missed the classic vac metal legs.

Well, the show premiered. Any word on toys yet?

I'm actually digging the new voltron and mech designs. Though I'm not too thrilled with the character animation and designs. Definitely will pick up a 6'' figure of this voltron though.

This is the first I've heard of it but I am already completely on board for this! I hope they do come out with a toy line for this. The sales from all the new versions over the last few years should prove to them that it won't be a flop.
