According to pre-orders from Dorkside there will be a regular Force Awakens Snowtrooper coming in wave 4.

Not entirely true. In The Avengers as Iron Man is falling back through the portal, it shows inside the helmet and you can see the nuclear glow on Tony's face. And in IM3 after the Mark 42 is blown up and the helmet lands on the ground, you can see fire coming out of the open eye holes.

As for the troopers, I think a HUD would make sense. Vader's helmet had one. But wouldn't the HUD help with their aim?

This actually just occurred to me but what if it's supposed to be sorta like a one-way mirror like Cobra Commander's helmet and the black eye ports are just for show and so you know where to look when you're talking to one of 'em.
