Still cheaper than most online retaliors- plus they stick you for shipping (you guys know whom I speak of).
If you live in the boonies, you're hosed bigtime.

Sometimes I can't understand how these big franchises can charge twice as much on shipping as it has ever taken me to ship.

TRU has Marvel U for $9.49 but truthfully since I'm new to the addiction I was unaware of what they were charging previously as that has been they only price I've seen there

Call me crazy, but I don't pay a whole hell of a lot of attention to how much the toys I want to buy cost.

Prices are sky high in Canada. LCS are the worst, ranges from $13 to $30 for single carded figs.

What's more annoying is that the packaging sucks and is cluttered with different languages including French and Spanish. They've then removed the character description at the back all together, and only recently in Wave 14 did Hasbro start including the information on a separate pamphlet all folded up inside the package. Hasbro's so stupid, they should just keep everything in Englsih on the package and then include the pamphlet with the other languages.

Hasbro Canada can keep shitty old Shocker, SS Venom, and Heimdall. I'd rather have lower prices, and package info all in English any day. $11.99 for single carded figs at retail? Give us friggn break.

This is what makes it so hard for me to collect 4 inch lines. I mean when a 4 inch fig cost more then a 7inch thats just disgusting.

SS Venom is sold in the states, but they get scooped up immediately after they hit shelves. It is a nice figure, but Hasbro foolishly produces very few of them and instead cranks out loads of Spiderman figures.

Well, I'm sure their demographics and sales figures show taht Spidey sells X amount of units more and then they make new figures based on that.

So if a Venom is one per case, it's beause that's what they think will sell, not more.

with villians, it's always a gamble for them- how many Sider Man line Green Goblins are clogging pegs nationwide?
A hell of a lot.

Then the risk increases in proportion to the obscurity of a character- I'm amazed that Shocker ever got made- moreso that MU did a Electro figure: that guy's a joke! Giant starfish mask, green bodysuit with thunderbolts...gah.

Which one is the SS Venom? I found this wackado of a Venom with a scorpion tail painted black! Too bad since the rest of the detailing looked really great. Could it be Scorpion Stinger Venom?
