There were some posts at TFW2005 recently, thanks to a guy by the name of Breakaway_Rocks or something, that really got me all nostalgic about the old BW days and the figures I had and loved back then. Particularly an obscure bug named Scarem.

So I figured, why not see what truly classic figures the guys around here still can't resist despite the new hotness that Hasbro's been cranking out. Anything from Classics and after need not apply, heh.

Got to say the G1 Soundwave and his cassette minions still have me picking them up now and again even after all this time.

G1 Jetfire. If I could only have one G1 TF, it would be him. Repaint of the 1/55 VF-1S Super Valkyrie from Macross with VE-1ELINT Seeker nose. Even now, the 1/55 VF-1 is one of the very best transforning jet toys ever made.

If you're picking up Fort Max on a regular basis, it must be doing wonders for your muscle strength.

Thanks for the answers so far, guys.

Besides Soundwave and co (if you know me, you know why), one of my favorites TFs to transform is G1 Sixshot.

Yes! Jetfire and, of course, his mold brother (besides minute differences) the VF-1S Super Valkyrie from Macross was and is just so cool, and extremely solid. Awesome then and still today!

Hell yeah! I have both!

Compare the 1/55 VF-1 to any modern transforming jet toy today, like the Cyberjets, Animated Starscream, movie Starscream, or even Classics Silverbolt, and it still stacks up well, and surpasses them in many areas.

It's a better workout than wii fit. I wonder if hasbro could market it as precision exercise equipment. >.>
