Wait. "Both versions of the Teela Maquette will retail for $475 USD"? Wouldn't the people that bought the regular version feel cheated paying the same price for 1 less arm/staff?

That's a peculiar way to look at a company offering an exclusive version at no mark up. Something they've been doing for years, along with numerous other companies who offer their own exclusive versions.

Don't get me wrong, I think the statue is GREAT. I guess I should say I'd expect them to mark up the one with the extra arm/staff. It's great that they didn't.

I'm trying to figure out why you would expect them to mark up for the exclusive version. Nearly all of their statue releases come in standard and exclusive versions, and I have always noted (to the best of my knowledge) that it's the same price for either version. It's something their customers are accustomed to.

Sideshow pieces almost always have the same price for the EX as well. The main reason why there is an EX that is at the same price is to make the people buy directly from the manufacturer. This way, all the money goes to them, so it acts as an incentive for the customer.
