I want to like this, I haven't thought about Sectaurs in forever! But I think I would want Dargon to have an insectoid right out of the gate. And while I'm glad they are going retro style, I'm not sure on this Stellara design. Will keep an eye on how the line develops.

This isn’t worth getting if there are no motorized glove insect rideables. Maybe if it were Visionaries.

Definitely doesn’t look right when the dude has more thigh gap than the chick.

The original Dargon had similar leg spacing, though I tend to agree something doesn't look quite on with this. Both the hips, and even as I look at the knee joints, something is throwing me off a little when I compare to the original (a picture with a neutral background would be helpful).

Stellara was planned but never produced back in the day, but some excessively rare prototype figures exist and it looks like they are somewhat referencing that based on the picture I've seen of one including the narrower leg spacing (though the earlier vintage prototype looks better to me).

Again, I appreciate they are trying to capture some retro feel with these, but it's a tough line to capture when the insectoids, and even the very cool Hyve playset were kind of the big appeal versus just the figures. Probably tough to invest that much at launch for a fairly obscure property.

No bug pets... that's disappointing. Oh well an excuse not to start a line.

I can't see these going the distance. The line is niche. The bugs are essential to its story. In this market, at that scale, they seem unlikely to me remade (and hopefully not as puppets) At least the 1:18 stuff went with other scaled figures. These seem to be only compatible with the vintage series. So, vintage collectors will get Stellara. Good for them. For anyone without a vintage collection, why would we care?

Love Sectaurs. Had every single one as a kid. But I can't pay 40 bucks a pop for 80's style sculpting and articulation. No thank you. Especially with no insectoid pets.

So far, Nacelle seem to be making a lot of odd choices with everything theyve shown and their sloppy seconds properties. We've already gotten a Sectaurs,Robofroce and Power Lords within the last 5 years. How about a different obscure 80s property that hasnt gotten any revival.

The original Sectaurs had those big huge leg gaps because they were designed to ride those hand sized bugs puppets, right? So unless they're planning to make 7" scale bugs for these figures to ride on, it doesn't make sense for them to keep the leg gaps.
