They were on two different shelves last time I looked in mine. One said they were £8.99, the other £4.99. I checked both price tags and they did have the same name. Wasn't a case of someone putting some on the wrong one. When the Captain America ML figures were there earlier in the year, they were £19.99 at first but got put down to £9.99, although the price-tag wasn't changed. I guess they'll come up at £4.99 on the till. Can't imagine them being put back up again.

So I'm in need of a wheelchair like this one that was put on the New MU Thread over 600 pages ago.

I never much cared for the golden hoverchair so I tried painting it. My silver didn't work out so I need to build a movie accurate wheelchair with rolling wheels.

also, found SDCC Joe 2015 HISS tanks on Chinabay in the SAME green plastic colour as my HYDRA vehicles......So I will need 2 of those now oh, and 4 more TRU masked HYDRA goons to pilot and gun them.So, that is some bullshit right there. Cheers for thatHasbro, dont give me stuff that i want as far as MU go, but feed my HYDRA addiction with stuff i dont want,need or desire. Alsoworking on Spidey villains currently. Got the rare transparent Carnage in.All the new Spidey baddies are going up for Christmas though. Also going to be getting the 3 piece Stark Tower playset from the 2.5" line for the big day. i will get some Spidey playset as well for them on the day. Will have them all set up with a bow on the playset i think.

Might have found an additional mid section for the Super Helicarrier-going from 4 to 5 feet. I think i have a screw loose or something. i figure if if i increase the deck area by 20% i can sit the S.H.I.E.L.D. jet on it too. Daft i know.

Have not touched the custom box in a bit. 10 things 85% finished. Story of my life.

best to ask a state side member that you get on with to order you one through HASBRO TOY SHOP next week. PayPal them the money and wait. Should work fine, i don't see that set going to quick UNLESS 6" guys jump in for the large new version of him, then it COULD become super rare. I suspect most of them will be wanting the Book Of Vishanti set instead though.

80 bucks is about 50 sterling and 15-20 to ship. So for about £30 cheaper than the BAF Giant Man you get it all in a box.

The figure sits fine in it, it's just the lack of movie accurate about it, no wheels, and my paint was a bit congealed.
I believe the wheelchair was a custom build. I might just get the first X-Men movie Xavier and fudge the scale.

do you apply paint by hand?if so,would you consider using an air brush for a cleaner finish?a bunch of customisers here use them and the results are fresh,less paint build up in areas.im on the lookout for a motorised version.

air brushes can be very affordable too. there is a kind that works off of Co2 cans that costs less than a tenner. Hobby spray paint too is great. Just practice first! On wood, your lawn, old charity shop toys and such.

Not to play sherrif, but there are like 10 of here in this thread, even less that are active. If it gives 2 or 3 something to talk about, i think it bennefits. Even if it doesnt bennefit, it is still something to read here. I too wish more pics were in his thread. That is why Friday I am taking some pics and only posting some in here. Keep it sort of exclusive.... can others do the same this weekend please? It will be good to see some appreciation shots while F5-ing awaiting news from the con! So if you have ten minutes, take a shot of something or someone or teams or group shots...whatever. Just be nice to see half a dozen or more new shots by Sunday evening in here. cheers to JB for keeping it fresh with photos on almost each page!

A slicing off of the fin, shortening of the arrow, and discarding of the accessories, and a coat, and I'll have a passable movie custom Yondu.
Has anyone else used the bomb that came with TDW Kurse as the Infinity Stone Orb? It's almost identical at this scale, and goes great with the TFA Tesseract, and Loki's sceptor.

I'll have a look at an air brush then. I know Games Workshop had one that I could clip my Citadel paints into, but that would cost a fair bit I reckon.

And I'll stick some pics up this weekend, some group shots, some customs and the like.

Boyes has cheap-but good- ones. The gun is only 30% off the quality. The air source (i.e.:no water or vapor in the lines) is about another 30% and the rest is all down to experience of the painter. I would try out Boyes first, but even better is spray paint.

I'm happy to keep my custom orders only be in showcased here. Also I've been playing around with some software called GIMP (don't laugh) it's a bit like photo shop so ill take a few pics and add little back drops etc for practice. But I did request a while back to see people collections and what customs they have in them as I love seeing everyone's personal touches but only one person replied so sort of not really bothered.

Because its discussion about availability and various prices on UK marvel toy collecting - seeing as we dont get much here its vital to get as much info and advice as possible from each other and just to keep the thread alive...lord knows theres not much else going on in this country for collectors and its getting harder and harder with increasing prices and lack of toylines released over here.

Theres the main Marvel appreciation thread for collection pics, news on new releases etc if thats what you are after.

I actually posted my X-Men collection a page or two ago so its not like we are always talking prices/availability etc here...

I love our little group and we need to stick together and help each other out as much as possible - we all know collecting this stuff in the UK is a royal pain in the arse sometimes but we are all plastic-crackheads!

I like that I see the same members posting in the main Marvel thread just as much too
