Thanks for letting us know this - found Loki at TRU yesterday. (Ended up knocking most of the figures off the pegs in the process!)

You don't need to reply because it really doesn't matter what you say - this is what you're getting. By the way, have you seen some of the cool SDCC stuff we're making this year? Finally got around to making one of Marvel's top villains 'Baron Zemo'. Europe? No - never. Black Widow from the hugely successful Avengers movie? Why would we want to send figures of the only female superhero in the film? It's not like any girls that may have seen the movie would like to own a figure of the only female hero is it? Loki? Why would any kids in Europe want to play with the villain of the movie? Didn't we send you a Loki in the Thor line? Never made it there? What about the Gigantic Battles Loki? US only? Hold on - seems like a few Loki's slipped through and showed up at Toys R Us - we've plugged that leak - sorry about that, and by 'sorry' I mean we don't care. We're just not seeing the need for a Loki release over there from over here. Look, we'll send you more Thor's, Captain America's and Iron Men. Does that sound good? Please don't answer - this conversation is over."
Nice rant and spot on!

I'm looking for a bit of advice. As you may or may not know I love my custom figures. I'm thinking I need a couple of SHIELD agents. I'm looking at Winter Soldier figure for the male version. Any ideas for a female version?

It's very rare that there is UK news for figures: We get scraps, and the typical pegwarmers. Nothing changes, that's why this can get all tumbleweedy. Cheers for the update on the 4 pack, but you could probably get it shipped for cheaper from the states

Hmmmm the IRA Scarlett,Helix,or Renegades Scarlett from the Joe line might be good base figures, especially the Renegades Scarlett as shes not too heavily detailed......MU-wise im not really sure..one of the Sue Storms maybe??

And whilst we are talking female figures...have any of you guys seen any Mary Jane Watsons in your respective areas of the country??

I saw Mary-Janes in Toys R Us about a year and a half or so back, but I've not seen any in the wild for quite some time.

The thread is dying! We need to keep it alive! For the sake of UK collectors!

Where has the super posable Spidey been found so far, aside from the recently mentioned Disney store?

I've seen them in the Entertainer, should have picked one up.. If people need him I'll pick him on sight and let everyone know

The film is getting good reviews so far, looks promising!

I guess it's fair to say there's not much doing in the UK at the moment! I've bought Movie BW, Hawkeye and unmasked Cap online (and War Machine actually).

What's everyone doing about the SDCC exclusives? If there's no mention of a retail release I'll get Baron Zemo online but there's no chance I'm getting the Helicarrier. I'm guessing we won't see the regular one either!

My movie Loki would like to disagree with you! If I hadn't known about the confirmed sighting from this thread I wouldn't have made such a tit of myself and knocked virtually every other figure on the floor finding him.

Im very surprised that the Poseable spidey turned up on shelves here in ireland before they showed up in the UK.and it seems to me that FP and other toy stores went into overkill with the avengers movie waves, which have been useful to me for customising(extra body parts)speaking of customs,i have an idea or 2 maybe you guys can find uselful, for a custom kazaar all you need is 1 age of thunder thor head pop it on to an imperius rex body, customize the shorts/speedos and ankles on the body and you have a kazaar.you may also want to try remove the body paint from IR or paint to Thor head to match body colour.
also for a unmasked version of wolverine, take 1 decent logan head,1 classic wolverine body, and the neckscarf from ultimate Hawkeye.paint neckscarf to match wolverine costume.switch the heads and add the neckscarf, what you should have is a version of wolverine simular to ML Unmasked daken, the more advanced Customisers will no doubt create works of art,but for Noobs like me its a hassle free alternative.

Fair do's. Wave 2 was £6.38 in Tesco, I thought that was a good price.

I'm not expecting to see Wave 3 for a while.

Your right about that deal in tesco, they had it going on over here as well i picked up a hawkeye and Cap America, but they seemed to have stopped it for now.the figures are back to their regular prices over here.I think Disney might be the ones to get wave 3 in before anybody else, they beat FP to the punch on the poseable spideys.im not gonna bother waiting though, will just grab what i can from the states or china for now.and im sure some items will show up in the next month or two over here and in the UK.
