Proteus do you know if the M.O.E pack will be available on Hasbrotoyshop.com?
Does it matter? Can people in the UK get stuff from Hasbrotoyshop?

Not directly but more units out there increase the chances of getting one at a reasonable price, it also gives UK stores like Forbidden Planet a much higher chance of getting a few in

I've noticed a couple of guys on the TFW2005 UK thread casually mentioning that they found and bought an Avengers Black Widow figure. Has anyone else had any luck spotting one in the wild yet?

I'm watching ebay but I'd rather not pay £70+ to get one shipped if I can help it.

I'm not even going to bother trying for a Helicarrier or Bruticus set. I've pretty much written off getting hold of those.

Sainsburys has Spidey movie figures reduced to £5.99 each.

Meh i wouldnt even bother with the HTS,especially considering the debacle there has been there the last 2or3 years over the SDCC exclusives,it might be worth asking over on the Appreciation thread, but it aint gonna be easy for the Stateside Arkers/HISStankers to get em,so even if someone offers to hook you up,dont start celebrating until you have concrete confirmation they have it for you. As for Forbidden Planet getting any in,really theres more chance of one falling from an aeroplane into your backgarden then any of them reaching UK distributors.............

And speaking of hooking up,im having a bit of a clearout so if anyone needs any of these guys drop me a PM and lets make a deal:

MU Cable (no Hope, missing Psimitar, has replacement from GI joe Shadow Tracker) £7
MU X-23 (loose,complete) £5
CA:TFA Hydra Heavy Threat trooper (loose complete) £4
DC GL G'Hu £2
DC GL Hannu Prototype £5
DCIH Black Hand £2
GI JOE Star Brigade Predacon (loose no accs) £5
(And in the interests of community everything goes post free!!!)

I disagree about the Forbidden Planet. The Sky-Striker-Scream set from last year vanished really fast at last years SDCC, and the Planet in London had at least one.

As far as I'm aware they didn't sell out of Masters sets (did they? I know they sold out of Bruticus a day early) so there may be some stock to go around. I wouldn't be surprised if the Planet send some 'reps' over to comic-cons and have them pick up a few exclusives to sell on.

I imagine that some FP's may get 1 or 2 in, but its gonna be really limited numbers, and they'll probably on the pricey side. When I go in next week I'm planning to ask if they will likely get anything in.

I'm in London and with the Olympics and the Rocket Launchers dotted around the capital the odds of something falling from a plane are a little higher than this time last week

Fantastic. Fortunately, I'm in Liverpool. The only thing that you're likely to see in London that belongs in Liverpool, apparently, are our buses.

Got a phone call today from Forbidden Planet,They asked me to stop by
and lo and behold look what they had for me.......Yay.

I asked them about the MOE box set, they reckon about a month before they see it,they seem to be focusing on the NYCC.

I'm glad I take my holidays around SDCC time, it makes me less pissed off about not having the chance to purchase the exclusives at a reasonable price. On my holiday though. I managed to pick up 2 X-Men Origins: Wolverine "Comic Series" Deadpools, a Captain Marvel and the X-Force 3 Pack quite cheaply so that was a nice surprise for me.

Will the MOE set be available in the UK?

I don't think we'll see the MOE set outside of comic stores, it might get a regular (US) release in the future though. (Like Sentinel last year.)

Like a fool, I'll pay over the odds on eBay! :-(

Not yet. There's probably more chance of me finding Lord Lucan, anyway.

Not often I find myself quoting myself, but I just found two Black Widows in Worlds Apart Liverpool. The slightly dinged one might be up for trade later...

I know right. I don't know what it sells for in the States, but that seems too cheap for a Hasbro UK item.

Buy one now or wait?

OR

Buy one now, buy another if/when they drop, fix 'em together and have a six foot carrier!!!

Then I could take over the world!?!!

...wait...

I want to grab a quinjet just to have one but I have set myself a £20 limit on that one lol.

I reckon we will see it drop to under £50 if it hits Asda

Although a super super helicarrier would be cool,

I was looking at a USS Flagg earlier, not to buy but just as a way of seeing how amazing toys were before video games ruled the kiddie £

Argos had a toy sale back before the film came out, I picked up a Quinjet for £24. £20 is a good price for it, if I had my way it would've only cost £25 to begin with, it's not worth it's £33-35 really.

If the helicarrier hits TRU we can wait for a 20% voucher (theres one going this weekend) and be laughing. But who knows if they'll get it.

It isn't an Argos exclusive though, so thats a plus.
