Distribution in Devon is next to nothing outside of comic shops and chains. Even then I've only ever seen wave 1 and 2 in actual retail shops like Toys R Us and Toymaster.
The MU line I have is all from online and the occasional lucky find in a shop, but i've not seen anything new for over a year! |

I found some of the new wave in Canterbury's 'Whatever Comics' Picked up Beta-Ray bill, passed on Kraven, decided to go back for him and someone else got their hands on him... not to mind I found an issue #1 of Spider-man 2099 so that made me happy!
You guys know anywhere else in the UK that stock new MU at retail? Going to the MCM Expo in London next month and I'm hoping to pick up a few there but other places to look always help. Since Tesco and such places stopped doing them. |

FP should have them or Orbital which is not far from FP in central london and has much nicer staff and better prices (you can talk a deal and they do 2nd hand figures as well)

'Fraid I succumbed to the evils of Ebay and won $30 (without postage) of MU's -I couldn't wait to get the new Hulk, plus the darker variant Thanos, and battle pack Daredevil and Bullseye.
The only MU I've found in fekkin' ASDA for about 3 years was one Doc Samson! That Green haired little b*st*rd . Did manage super-jointed Spidey from the Disney Store though. |

Don't feel bad, it's the only way sometimes.
Even my go to sellers can't stock the comic packs for less then £30 so ebay is the only way if you don't want to spend loads. Plus, the new sculpts of Bullseye and Daredevil are amazing and well worth the money! I've just ordered a few bits from Marauder Gun Runners to pad out Punisher's arsenal. Just checked my confirmation email and they are sending me a freebie as well! I've not used them before as they sell out of the really cool stuff quick but so far so good. They also have a kickstarter which is worth prompting people to look at. |

Oh good I'm glad you said that! Let us know about the Marauder experience.
That probably sounds like I work for them! Seriously though, my experiences have all been good. |

Thanks for the info Lionheart! I'm curious to know what kind of resin they use- is it a very 'plastic' feel? I guees with very thin stuff it'd have to be flexible. I'm half thinking of casting some stuff myself (diorama material mainly) .

I've bought varied things from them, so some of it was out of the box World Peacekeeper stuff, and the rest was what they cast themselves. I think the Marauder stuff was more brittle than soft - not to say it was 'snappable' brittle, but it wasn't soft to the point that you could bend it then bend it back. I'm not exactly sure how to describe it other than... it's plastic. Not sure that helps though!

Thanks Lionheart, that is useful. Just that some of these sites use Resins to cast parts, and Resins really vary in quality. A small part made of a brittle resin would last about 2 minutes!

I'm working on these at the moment, not Marvel but a properly articulated Batman (Mattel ones are sh*te) and a Die-cast Batmobile to fit. (sorry a bit off topic) |

That Batman is awesome, very nicely done!
I know what you mean when talking about the type of plastic. A good point of comparison would be the MU figure's grade of plastic versus the Captain America movie series. Posing an MU figure is easy and they tend to hold position, mostly due to the grade of plastic. The Cap figures were "bendy" and don't hold poses well as the plastic feels less substantial and a bit cheaper. By the sounds of it Marauder use the better grade (ie tougher, less bendable) of plastic but i'll let you know. |

I was lucky to bag a Bag headed Spider-Man for $11 plus $8 dollars shipping from US when they first became available. Think it worked out quite well, they seem pretty rare now.

the irony of that comment is the fact the baghead spidey was scheduled for general release around the end of this year.the distribution is all over the place at the moment,we are getting waves that american arkers cannot get in their own state.Asia is getting sets that both us and the U.S cant get.trust me,those bag head spideys WILL show up over here.

Just a quick one from me. Avengers Movie 3.75 inch Hawkeye - the Renner one - spotted and purchased in Liverpool Forbidden Planet for £11.99. One left, with a few Skrull.

Got my Marauder Gun Runner haul. Took about two weeks but well worth it.
My new Punisher has a small arsenal now. There's a very simple pleasure in having everything individually bagged and there being so many small pieces. The plastic is tough and durable and the quality is decent. Too much stress will break them but that applies to most small weapons. The piece that sold me is the SWAT jacket, made from a tough but flexible plastic. I assumed it'd be a single piece but it's two detachable halves and has already stood up to some stress testing on the clasps. Top stuff and highly recommended. Just don't do what I did and think that because it's cheap you can buy loads. I've more weapons than even Frank Castle can carry now. |

Just bought some white acrylic paint to add a rough Punisher skull onto the vest.
You can't have Frank without the skull! I'll post pics if it turns out well enough. |
