Good to know, I'm making fairly regular trips to TRU at the moment for the AOE Transformers figures so I'll keep an eye out for Marvel stuff.

We are at such a disadvantage here in the UK that if we all work together, we should get somewhere.

HTS does NOT ship internationally..... *trumpets go WAH WAH WAAAAAAH*

I will be in that areas NEXT Monday or Tuesday Jimmy... I hid them pretty well ( behind 3 £135 Playmobil Princess Tower playsets ) So unless they sell those 3 big ticket items they have had for 2 years in the next 10 days.... we are good.

Mine is a couple of miles away but it is the saddest place ever, it genuinely depresses me to go in there

They are WELL hid there. I will more than likely make a little time perhaps Thursday morning, after rush hour and pick them up. Will just get them both I think and use one for trades on FaceBook. Unless anyone else wants him....

Just had to dip into a BOYES and saw they have GAME INK brand 'hobby figure paint' for WAR HAMMER guys I guess. Grabbed a few bottle to test out. Still have 15 MOON KNIGHT bodies to turn into S.H.I.E.L.D. troopers. Going with black instead of the navy blue, just because. Almost have all the parts for our summer customs!!!

GROOT ala The Missing Link recipe
JOCASTA sculpted and SILVERLEAFED FF Sue Storm
MOONDRAGON bald Star Wars female head, Gladiator cape, cheap female buck
TIGRA sculpted and DYED FF Sue Storm

I think, and it is JUST a hunch, that I can silver leaf JOCASTA. I have guilded for hours and hours and hours before. I know I can make it stick to plastic. I know I can buff it to an almost mirror shine. Pretty sure I can protect it from scratching too.... maybe.

The DYE is another matter. I figure since I am using a WHITE base it should be much easier. I will skip the hairy sculpted lower legs so I get a clean orange dye. I dont know if either of these techniques will work, but I am trying none the less.

Checked the local The Entertainer today, hardly any new stuff apart from Transformers. Still had loads of Iron Man 3 figures on clearance and those awful Dark Knight Rises figures. No sign of the Infinite figures at all.

At least at CHAIN STORES zero signs of MI anywhere!!! They are even pretty scarce in the States, as I have read anyway. Still mum and pop independent toy stores and our local online toy retailers. How nice would it be to walk into say a Morrisons and just see them loading a case on the shelves??!?? Actually be able to look at three ir four of the same figure and actually choose the one you want.... what a world, heh!

There's a Hamleys in Manchester if you and your boy fancy a road trip!

I am really only interested in Whirlwind this round. Maybe a DeathsHead 2 but not really...

HAMLEYS....huh? Will look into that all the same. Been looking for other toys, mostly GODZILLA, but travel over to Manchester a few times a year.... a nice little train ride to Manchester Piccadilly, might plan a day out. Good looking out.

Went to my local Toys R Us and found those 3.75" Wolverine figures from last year for £5.99 each. They also had the 10 inch Claw Slash Wolverine for £19.99. Was tempted to pick the whole wave but decided to get just the 3.75" Warrior Claw one so I could put my money towards the GOTG legends. The sculpt is fantastic. Paintwork is okay and and the articulation isn't as good as it could be but I think it's pretty nice. Plus I'm keeping him boxed for now anyway. Noticed that all the packaging information is in English and doesn't have all the warnings in different languages so I guess it's imported stock from America. Got the Marvel Infinite Series Wasp and Hulk figures from Asda recently too and noticed Wonderman on the back. Cancelled figure? Not heard about anyone else getting him.

Wonderman's going to be in Wave 4. Don't know why he was pushed back but I'm guessing they stuck in an extra Iron Man to fill up the wave 1 cases instead.

Thank you! Yeah, I found them in there a few weeks ago in April I think. So glad I got Wasp when I was in there. Didn't even know at the time she was a one per case figure!

They can be like that in the Us too. In Las Vegas I went to a TRU, 2 Walmarts and a Target and it was so depressing I was left gobsmacked.

I found better stuff in an independent toy shop in LA.

I have a FANTASTIC tru I go to. Next to an Ikea in a ridiculous huge shopping centre. They have MU, although it is just the tru exclusive FF Spider-Man and white Dr. Doom 2pack, Thor, Thor2,Cap movie figures. Usually a load of Dr.Who stuff, but since I am.looking for some for a.guy in the states, I can't seem.to find any.

The WAVE 2 figures will be here by the weekend hopefully. MikeyB101 has you covered...just pm him. I hope the Asda I go to starts to carry the waves. I have found MU there before. They sit forever and then go for.a fiver. Would love to get 4or 5 extra Whirlwinds down the road for Kree customs. Add a head, remove armour and a logo decal and done.

Ditto for Liverpool. They also had Avengers Assemble Thor, Hulk, Hawkeye and that blue/yellow Iron Man. Looked like they'd been having a significant restock.

Was tempted to get Hawkeye and then I realised his bow was missing. The packaging seemed to be sealed though. Looks like a nice figure but I think I'll go for the more articulated one if I find it.
