Went really well today. Picked up Abomination and a Dark Hawkeye from Overdrives house on my way to the toy shop. Man, you guys should look at overdrives toys.... got loads of stuff for proper deals. Was looking at SH Figarts Alien and Hasbro Select light sabres and a stack of new MI figures including Red She Hulk and Whirlwind and Wasp and all sorts. Cases and cases of Game of Thrones,Walking Dead, Pop! Vinyl, Star Wars and the coolest Transformer 4 toys out there. Also Picked up.a Groot BRANCH BASH for a custom. He also he pre-ordered some.stuff for Christmas for me to put away. PM him if you got.needs!

Cosmic.Toys.was.awesome. Traded.a complete Simpson's Lego set and some random loose MU guys for some great stuff. Got a MU Gladiator complete for £3 to use as a custom. Need his cape for Moondragon. A Star Wars vintage CAP-2 vehicle.to use with AIM and two cute Mezco Freddy and Jason toys for my son at Christmas. Also got a Tom Baker Doctor Who figure and K-9 few r a mate in North Carolina called Iron Wrist over on MUCC.

All in all a really great day. Had some AMAZING toy related news as well.... save that.for another time.

My mate at Action Figure Supplies just dropped off my Wave 2 figures and they're very cool, particularly Death's Head II. I like Whirlwind way more than I thought too. The paint work on Steve Rogers is a bit poor though, they haven't even bothered to paint the leg joints where his trouser stripe crosses the knees. I passed on Beta Ray Bill, She Hulk and 80s Thor.

DH2 really surprised me too! I didnt think I would like him, but I did a bit. Then, once he was open....loved him! I like that the little weapons fit into the tiny shield and the tiny shield clicks into his back. Or, the hands pop off super easy and they can be placed in there. Pretty cool. Whirlwind is awesome! I have seen some GREAT picks of him with different Japanese toy effects and they are fantastic....

@Nymesis.... SHS, Super Hero Showdown from ToyBiz. They were 3.75" Marvel Legends for a Pokemon style fighting system/game... I know, right? This line was the prelude to the MU line. Many of the figures are superior to the MU line, some are not. The only good Doc Oc and a 90's style beast. I hate the MU Modern CAT BEAST. I will work on that list Saturday morning! Cheers!

Overdrive Toys told me my Godzilla gigantic beast is in!!!! Yes!!!!!! It is a Christmas present for my son, but good old dad is gonna go before I put him in the attic!! Two feet high and three feet long..... NO idea where he is supposed to go once he is opened. Guess I will.build a diorama box/shelf for Christmas too!

Also, going to set up at a comic and toy show next Saturday with him!! Very excited about that. If you're near Leeds next weekend, swing by and say hello! Never sold at a show, but I'm helping a brother out. That is something I would like to do more of in the future. I just couldn't sell our toys, but selling someone else's is sounding great!

Just 15 days away until the MCM Manchester comic con!!! It has been expanded to two days this year, as last time 40,000 people showed up to a venue that can hold 15,000. Stoked about that.... going on a small budget, so not not really looking for toys too Mich, more just a day out with the lad. Should be a memorable experience!

Le Tour de France starts here in Yorkshire tomorrow. Grande Depart has everything gridlocked traffic wise. Even more than usual with congestion. I would rather shoot myself in the foot than go near Harrogate tomorrow!!

Got these guys through the post, digging the Deaths Head, and although an older mold, the whirlwind is growing on me!

Deaths Head hands 'transform' and the weapon can fit in the hole! Or the weapons can go into the shield and the shield sits perfect in the slots on his back.... well designed accessories. He is pretty cool overall, a weird character that I am still not too sure where he should go yet though. I know some people consider him more in the Transformers line that the Marvel line.... I dont know anything about that story, but he is cool. I like Whirlwind best though...

Ares, Ant Man, Valkyrie, Death Lok and Astonishing Cyclops will be here Monday at the UKMU household! Also awaiting a special figure from The Longest Day hopefully on Saturday! Also getting more AIM troopers from a trade on Saturday...maybe Monday. Good weekend!

PLUS... next weekend doing that show with OVERDRIVE TOYS and the FOLLOWING week is the MCM Manchester.... then, nothing for a LONG LONG LONG time. Wave 4 sucks arse, wave 5 is still a question as to when and (rumoured) if it will even happen. The SDCC boxset is lame...do want that Starfox though.
