Echoed. Starfox was on my MU wishlist (longlist). I hate the fact the box set is so expensive. Seriously, it's twice the price of the Deadpool set from last year.

The only new MU fig I've bought is Death's Head, purely because the Planet sold out on preorder. I have so much preordered with them I don't have the heart to cancel now. Hurry up and get them in!

Oh, and this might not be the thread for it, but... still no Turtles Z-Line playsets in the UK. And still no sign of the next two Time Zone playsets for Dr. Who.

My Tesco just this week got the Turtle Sub in and the Spyder Bytes wave. I think the Z-Line will be here in September ( purely a guess and speculation, NOT based on anything so dont quote me ) but I think it wont be long now. The line does well here, I dont see them stopping now. Although TMNT is no longer on regular tele and I see the figures sitting longer than they used to. Just season 2 on Nickelodeon. Enough about Turtles though...

The SDCC set is gonna cost us an arm and a leg here on the secondary market. Individual figures wont be too bad though. Even if Starfox goes as high as $70, that is only £40. I dont expect him to go for ANYWHERE near that money either. Only half the people interested in the set are interested in him. A lot dont care, but he is high on our Avenger list.

Cool. Had a quick look at Overdrive's ebay site, a bit expensive for some stuff imo. Does he have his own website or does he just trade through ebay?

TMNT Zip Lines - Flair put out a press release after the Harrogate toy fair that said:
"New additions to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles range include the Z-line playsets and new action figure releases including Wave Eight in May and new Throw and Battle Assortments in Autumn." - so no official word on when the Z-Line stuff is out.

Yeah they always leave the answers sort of vague on certain things. I remember reading once that UK and EU get TMNT stuff imported from the manufactures and not through the distributors like other places get. Not really sure what that even means, but I guess it takes longer that way, would seem quicker with no middle man but I guess not. I do know that TMNT stuff sells, that Z-Line looks awesome for MU and they will (?) release it here soon. 2 more weeks until the kids are out of school for the summer.... so maybe by September when they go back to school... maybe. I would imagine 100% by Christmas though.

Overdrives prices are fair on most things, plus free shipping and you can always haggle on ebay. Some items might seem high but when you buy by the case you will eat Caps and Iron Mans (Men?) and certain other unwanteds as too.I guess one factors that into the prices as well. There are MANY choices out there and we are all pretty good at sourcing our hobbies. He is supporting his family by selling toys on ebay, in this economy I applaud that. I am helping him out with his first show. Although I have NEVER done a comic/card/toy show, I have done SEVERAL trade shows and sales at art/craft fairs before. I think it will be fun and hopefully he make some good money for himself and his young family. That and it will (hopefully) be nice for the attendees to see a dedicated toy dealer there. Either way, I am looking forward to it. A nice day out. I wouldnt mind, a few years from now, doing a few BIG shows a year myself. I have zero stock but sort of a dream to wheel and deal in toys. Just needs to be something we dont want to keep!!! I joke with Blaze and tell him we can sell Barbie and My Little Pony... but that might NOT be a bad idea.

Waiting on the post now...... in less than an hour SHS Beast from The Longest Day (should) be here... I am SOOO stoked! He has been a big WANT for so long. Blaze dosent know he is coming, and I should put him away until Christmas.... but it is hard!!! Maybe dear old dad will have a go then out him up!!

Custom night went well! Painted and talked and ate nachos and watched Independence Day on tele.....good stuuf. Our MU Gravitron is the business!! Jocasta is all painted, now have to add a band thing on her upper left thigh and sculpt the head finish with another coat and BAM she is done. Have Moondragon and Tigra in the works too. Still need a doner body for Tigra.... hoping the Vitruvian H.A.C.K.S. kickstarter hits 210,00 dolars and their orange female is unlocked, then I will use her!

EDIT.... Just got SHS BEAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow, SO much better than the pictures! And I caved.... gave him to Blaze already! He just about did a backflip in the kitchen!!!!

I will be standing behind a giant Godzilla figure and wearing a HYDRA shirt (if it gets here in time) and have a VERY long braided beard with green and yellow loom bands in it match my new shirt and most likely the only guy with a Hawaiian accent in the room... I don't think you can miss me!!

Be great to see some arkers there, come down and we can shot the shit about anything and help support Overdrive in his first toy show! Besides, I may need someone to buy me a hotdog if I spend all me money!

Got 5 out of the 6 wave 3 today from the states!! Didnt get Omega Red.

What took it soooo long was the guy who sold it to me found a LEFT HAND for GIANT MAN BAF for cheap!!!! I dont know if you remember that SWEET GIANT MAN baf I got a few months ago for 7 quid!!! Was only missing the hand. He found the missing piece for me for $8,less than a fiver and shipped for free!!! Just piggie-backed with wave 3. That means got him for LESS than £12...

Ares is cool, but Valkyrie is my favourite. Ant-Man is the HOLY GRAIL piece though... he is on a whole different level to me. One of the 5 founders of the BIGGEST team out there and we are JUST now getting him. Deathlock and Cyclops are duds to me. Nice figures, but they dont fit in our collection. Already traded Deathlock...if any one needs Astonishing Cyclops let me know. Will trade for just about anything.

Hey, I am trying to work out a custom, but do any of you guys know a 3.75" figure that wears a suit like the MU Pro X?

The M.I.B. (Men In Black) have a 3.75" line. Very cheap on eBay from BluDuff,aka JIMMYS TOYS from China, less than a fiver for two. K, the Caucasian figure is only available in the weird little lots he has. Still very cheap if you wanted white hands.

Another, much nicer but more expensive option is the beautiful 2008 SDCC COBRA COMMANDER. Look at his buttoned double breasted blazer with lapel pin and wonder in awe. It also comes in a blue blazer and tan trousers for that casual weekend look.

The 2009 SDCC Destro is great too. Nice black suit if you don't want to paint the Professors blue suit. As stated before, the SDCC are more expensive than Xavier. If you want a black suit though, this is your guy as you will have no rub. Same body, just black.

As always check out VORTIOUS CUSTOMS he has several.styles available to be cast in just about any colour under the sun. From C.E.O. to military brass to scientist/doctor with tie and lab coat and the ones mentioned above. The suits are on page 7 and please note the he is away until AUGUST 3rd on holiday, then when he.returns, I am.told he has packed in his job and will focus on casting for the MU 3.75" community full time!!! Great guy, use him.often as does our very own JimmyO...who I might add is becoming quite the pro customization master!!! (post some pics HERE in the UK thread from.time to time mate)

There are leaked rumours of wave 5!!! I have it on good authority from a solid source with an inside guy at Hasbro.... (sounds like a friend of an uncles cousin former roommate scenario) That three have NEVER appeared in 3.75" but HAVE been in 6" and one will have a variant.

I have a super long braided beard (I look like a deranged Viking, but my mum says I'm handsome) and have an American accent. So, I may stick out a bit.... On a side note.... the H.A.C.K.S. figures were FULLY funded for everything they offered!!!! More than $400 grand (before fees of coarse) they raised in total. I have an awesome guy who is letting me 'piggy-back' on his order and shipping to UK for me. If your interested in picking some up, they are a tenner a go for the blanks and I forget what the Greek line run, but cheap with the exchange rate! The more of us that buy the cheaper the shipping will be!! We have 3 weeks until they tally everything up so there is time!!!

I have realized we here in the UK get screwed often when it comes to figures, collectively we have tremendous buying power though. My goal is to use this power and help each other out and we can get figures BEFORE even ANY etailer in the UK get them AND pay less than tenner each including shipping!!! We can get them before most of the guys in the states even get them...same day Hasbro gets them, they ship here. Maybe in futer they can ship direct from China I am told and we would get them 2 full days BEFORE even BBTS and HOUSE OF FUN and all the giant American toy sellers even! I hope you guys all fell the same and we can work together on this!
