Rant of the day: Global postage program on eBay; 'customs services provided'.

In what twisted world is paying customs charges on an item which would have got through without charge anyway, a 'service'?! Maybe if you pay an extra fiver they'll come to your house and saw your leg off for you as well.....

It makes identifying the cheapest auction even more difficult, thanks eBay!

I never use them since they stopped taking Paypal. Shame really.

It is a massive massive scam. Not only are you paying import duties on items of which about 70% wouldn't have been hit if it was shipped normally, but if they charge you and the package doesn't get charged, they 'might' refund you 'part' much much later. On top of that, the item isn't shipped from the seller to you; it's shipped from the seller to them who then ship it to you. They also open packages and remove packaging to make packages lighter so they can pay less shipping and skim money from that. It's a massive massive massive scam and eBay knows it, which is why they are actually having to force people to use it.

I HATE IT WHEN I SEE THE GLOBAL SIGN!!!!!! It irritates me no end! It takes all the control out of the buyer seller relationship. Where as other wise you would not have to pay duties, you ALWAYS have to pay at the highest level through that scheme. Hate hate hate hate it.

Got a trade for a Starfox going! Stoked about that.... minus some customs, I am considering it, AVENGERS ASSEMBLED!!!!

Another guy wants to trade some TRU 3 pack HYDRA goons for a complete Infinity Gauntlet set. We only use the 3pack goons transceivers anyway, so you never see them when we get them out, figure why not. That full set will make a hell of a Christmas gift for the lad!!!! Love some BIG boxes under the tree. He really Really REALLY wants that glove he says! Looks a bit of fun for little hands....and I will give it a go when no one is around.

10:00 our lights are out and candles lit for the 100 year anniversary of the start of WWI.... thank you to all the grand fathers and great grand fathers that gave so much so we can be free today.

Well that was a thread killer...
It's all gone a bit quiet here. Is that cos there's no new stuff around?
Got my GotG legends and they're great, just like the film. Anyone got their Wave 3 stuff yet? Or wave 4?

yes, got an extra Ionic Wonderman up for a trade if anyone needs him!
i was thinking about getting the GotG ML just because. Funny how they are almost everyone's favourite now! Me too.

I hate it when this thread goes quiet, but i usually post the most so i dont like being the next one, ya know. I still need to do pics for here, but been SUPER SUPER busy as we leave on hols Monday early early. Got about 9 packages I still need to send out before then, pack, sort some stuff out, clean my studio, mow the garden, sort the cattery out, take the fish to a mate, have to go to some food festival over in Huddersfield tomorrow.... and about 457 other things! Pics every other day here is my toy priority when I get back.

The deal for an Infinity Gauntlet set fell through. Bittersweet i guess, just really want Starfox. That and i am all but traded out and down to the bare bones of trade fodder....just a purple Wonderman and the new wave 3 Cyclops is about all I have left. Oh and a XMO Deadpool.

I'm on a bit of a Transformers kick at the moment, specifically I'm painting some WST esque kabaya stuff. I am in the room with all my MU though so it's not far from my mind!

I've got all of my Jedi that got killed in ROTS displayed together so I'm thinking of displaying Lady Death with them when I get her!

These are our HELICARRIER TROOPER figures.... 12 that stand guard on the Super HELICARRIER, all that remain of my Nick Fury mailaway Christmas horror of 2013. Long story, but in the end I have an extra 12 Nick Fury jetpacks and big ass guns....add to 12 TRON black guards (from Amazon for £18 shipped) and a little white paint (and white wires from elbows to pack and calves to pack, but not seen in this pic) are all that remain of once respectable S.H.I.E.L.D. trooper count. Have 15 new ones, custom MOON KNIGHT bodies from China for £1.87 shipped each, some cast heads from Vort and K-Dub, some pistols and assault riffles from K-Dub and now just need 15 gun belts from Vort and finsh painting, add S.H.I.E.L.D. decals and we have 15 more troops again. We have other 'specialty' figures in the armies as well... pics to come, as promised much more often.

Oh joy ebay are activating the global postage programme in the UK so they can skim more money off us for overseas trades.

Anyone seen AI wave 2 or 3 in shops yet? Or wave 1 for that matter!

F all is hitting the UK. We're so far behind it's not funny.

The global shitting programme is a massive scam. If a package gets damaged in transit you can't blame the seller, and you also have to jump through massive hoops to get anything from the global shippers because they aren't ebay or Paypal. On top of them opening and removing packaging to lighten the load it's daylight robbery.

Just checked the Entertainer website for shits and giggles and they're sold out of the 2 AI figures they had, Cap and Hulk.
Tried the Toys R Us site and a search for Avengers Infinite only returned Disney Marvel Infinity Skylanders type things. Searched for Heroic Age Iron Man and was redirected to the "Spider-Man Guess Who" board game page. Odd.

Looks like it's back to pre-orders for me then.

I wouldn't search for 'Avengers Infinite'. I think the line is called 'Marvel Infinite'. Better to search for a character or just search 'Infinite':

marvel infinite

on the second part of our holiday and now at Butlins in Skegness. They have MI wave 1 here at their toy store. Asked and they are moving about a case a day!!!! Anyway, Iron Man and Cap are the hot sellers and Hyperion and Grim Reaper are starting to pile up.

I only get 15 minutes of internet time a day here unless I buy a code for more time... weird. Anyway had a great time last week and having loads of fun here at Butlins this week.

We brought some MU and have them posed in the room, I'll post pics later and be home on Sunday!!! Hope everyone has gotten their packages, had to have my neighbour send them as i missed the boat on sending them out 2 Saturdays ago he said he would for me!

Off to the giant water park now........ they even have a cinema here and we watched GotG again, even better second go! Plus my mate wants to see it next week with him and his son..... Marvel Studios is getting my money 6 times for this one!!!(3 times 2 tickets each time)

What a load of crap, I think it will eventually get to the point where people not using it will actually sell their stuff for more.

Found some Marvel Universe Infinite Series in ASDA today for £10.97 each - picked up WASP, not sure if I will keep her or trade her though.
