First post in aaaages, but with good news
TRU has the Cap Winter Soldier wave knocked down to a tenner a piece.
If it's anything like the Reading branch then the shelf edge ticket will still say £20 but they'll scan at £9.99.
If anyone comes accross a Marvel Now Cap that's going spare he's the last one I need to finish my Mandroid...

Cheers,
Doug

Awesome! Did you see Baron Zemo or Red-Skull? I've found all of them but them two in my local store recently.

Ah. Perhaps it's the revision case they're getting? I think that one has the movie figures but not all of the comic figures. I know that there were some Red-Skull and Baron Zemo sightings a few weeks back though.

Well I picked up my 2nd infinite series figure yesterday after DD last week, I got the standard Sandman they had it in my local Sainsburys, he was hid right at the back and actually looked like someone had put it there on purpose, glad it was though as I was going to settle on Black Cat.

They had all the rest apart from Bishop, he is the only other one I really want from this wave as l have come to the conclusion (even though I haven't been collecting long) I hate what they have done with lack of articulation on these new figures, you can tell its a cost saving exercise.

I see it as if they are doing this it's like screw you small figure collectors we are concentrating on the 6inch market, if you look at the legends they still have all the artuculation why don't our small figures?

Really unhappy with the quality of the two infinite figures I have too, the joints are so loose, I have 18 MU figures (only started a month ago) so far and I'm really happy with there quality, you can tell the figures have got worse with these infinite series. I have about another 15 to 20 core figures I want to get then I might hang up my boots on the 3.75 if this is the quality we can expect for the future.

I have bought a few marvel select over the last few weeks (carnage, cable, juggs, gambit) and must say the quality of these figures on a price to size size basis is unbelievable. I know I'm just a beginner but I do like my money to be well spent

Tell me about it, I wouldn't have minded the cut in articulation if the price was lower but instead the quality has gone down and the damn price has gone UP!!

My Black Cat seems to have a problem with her left leg too, bloody thing keeps popping off Not good for an £11 figure!

my advice to you would be this, get out of this line as soon as possible and collect revoltec or gundam, something worth the money.because there is very little love in Marvel figure collecting.

Me too. Maybe the socket just wasn't deep enough, either way its a pain.

Just to add another gripe about quality, the plastic is so weird on these new figures. I never opened a MU figure that I had to wipe off?!?! There is an oily film all over MI, especially noticed this on Bishop and Beast.

YEP K-Dub, our Bishop was oily too. Also, our Black Cat left leg is the same!

Now that is a nice baron von Strucker!

I have just come up with a new recipe for ours. He will look more akin to his EARTHS MIGHTIEST HEROES look and will math the troops better this way.n Just need to find the right parts on ebay and wait for the new Vulture head.

I did order Shanna from Chinabay for the head to use for Madame Hydra upgrade. Also MOST of the body I can use for a Moondragon figure. With bare skin shoulders, elbows, hips and knees she is almost done. There is a bald female Star Wars pilot head that is perfect. A cape, a collar and some green and should be quite an easy custom for anyone. Also with ZERO chance of paint rub!

Ooh it worked, well I went to TRU today to try and pick up Bishop, they didn't have him just a load of sandmen and beasts, anyway they had a load of the Spider-man movie stuff in the sale, picked up 2 of the super possible spider-man hoping to sell one on eBay and make a little bit. Also got lizard and electro, not great figures in the way of articulation but think they look well with displayed with spidey.

Anyway when I got home had to nip to asda and as usual had a look at the toys and would you believe they had the infinite figures in and had one Bishop right at the back, cheaper too at £10.97 a happy but expensive day for me. Last purchases for me for a few weeks is I've just ordered a Jim Lee Cyclops and I've seen a submariner and dark spiderman/Dr doom 2 pack that are cheap that I think I will order, this has officially turned into an addiction. http://

Also my first post in ages. Actually I forgot I had an account on this forum but guessed my credentials correctly first time.

Anyway, I had heard that TRU had the Cap figures half price so I decided to check out my "nearest" store, which is a 30 mile drive in each direction.

As luck would have it they did have the figures. The pegs said £19.99 but I got them to scan the price and it did come up as £9.99. So I grabbed WW2 Cap, Aim Soldier, Hydra Soldier and another Black Widow to display with the alternate head.

They also has a Marvel Now Cap. Sorry, Doug. If I had known someone needed it I'd have bought it for you.

They also had 2 or 3 of Bucky. No movie Cap, Skull or Zemo.

PS the packaging seems to be in English, French and Spanish. It's not the EU Achtung!!! type packaging. Perhaps they are from the Canadian or Mexican market?

Canadian Caps and Mexican Zemos?

Sounds like drinks and starters at a world food restaurant!

I need to check the TRU in Birstal now because I REALLY need a Mandroid or two!!!!

good job on posting Law!!!!!

once you copied it though you can paste directly into the big white reply box, you do not need to paste it in the little INSERT IMAGE icon with the mountain and sun...that is the "http" before each pic....try just direct pasting next time

also SOOOOO GLAD to see you guys around and posting again! dont be strangers!!!call again and often....I always get excited when I see new posts in the UK/EU thread!

Just realising that this must be the Doctor Doom that I sold. I'm gradually selling off my Marvel Universe figures as my focus has shifted to Marvel Legends.

For last second bids you should check out Gixen. I use it all the time and it saves a lot of hassle.

Umm... Off the top of my head and without looking... Thor, couple of Iron Man, Kitty Pryde, World War Hulk, Spider-Woman. I need to find all the accessories/stands/files before I list them.
