Can anyone tell me if its specific waves of Thor/Cap/Iron Man that are showing up in Asda or is it random figures from across waves?

I'd like to know if I should be keeping an eye out for King Loki, Hydra Troopers or the Hammer Drone?

...Or if I should stop dreaming...

My mate tells me it's random. He saw Thor, Black Widow and an Iron Patriot in his local Asda.

I went to the London Super Comic Convention, hoping to find some goodies of the MU variety. Nada, zip, zilch. No MU, no ML, just a poor smattering of Cap and Thor figs with some Marvel Select that no one really wants.

But I went to Asda after and found 2 hammer assault drones and an air assault drone, so that made up for it!

They seem to have had wave 2 of Cappy figures, the last wave of Thor, minus King Loki & Laufey(has anyone seen an unopened box or fresh display to confirm?), and the weird amalgam box of Universe that Tescos got back in the autumn; The Dr. Strange wave (no variants of course) with added Iron Man, Vintage Cap, and Thor.

Found a 100% perfect MU Modern Thor reborn from wave 2 #.12
for £5 at Asda and they have Fireblast Destroyers,Iron Man 2 Concept series Ultimate Armour & Fusion Armour,Sif,Odin and Laufey and several Thors,Bucky Cap and U.S Agent and Crossbones and Assault Drones and 2 Skaars

They where still all available in N.Ards,Downpatrick and Shore Rd Asda's in NORTHERN IRELAND

Had a fairly profitable couple of days.

Asda Breck Road had Destroyer and Lady Sif at £5 each.

Entertainer Liverpool One had the complete Avengers 3.75 line so snagged a Cap and a Marvel Hawkeye. £9 each.

Worlds Apart had the complete line (£9.99 each) too plus the larger figures and the Quinjet. They also had MU Psylocke etc at the same price.

Plus my Marvel minimate Cap, Bucky and Peggy Carter have arrived.

I got 3 spare IM2 whiplash's if anyone wants them, for trade or sale.

I'm also curious as to whether anyone has seen the Avengers Movie line start popping up in stores yet? I'd like a movie Hawkeye and Nick Fury to complete my collection!

Yup have seen Avengers Movie stuff - TRU has the Quinjet (but strangely no 3.75" figures), the Entertainer's got all the first wave as does Forbidden Planet.

I'm sure they had Ultimate Hawkeye as well, which is slightly strange as he's according to BBTS he's not in the first couple of waves.

I'm keen to get an unmasked Cap if anyone see's one.

Picked up King Loki from the Avengers film line in London FP today

They had the full wave, and the sculpts do look a lot nicer then previously thought. However the articulation as people have said is mismatched. Hulk looks awful in my opinion. Have no desire to get him what with the New MU hulk coming out.

They also had the Psylock MU wave (minus Psylock, otherwise I would have picked her up too) as well as some of the latest two packs; Thanos/Adam Warlock, Mr. Sinister/Gambit

Also, Asda seems to have Thor figs reduced to £2.50 and Cap figs still at £5.
My Asda also randomly had a World War Hulk; snagged that badboy up immediately. If only there were a random Juggernaut in that stockroom too....

Nice find on the WW Hulk, my Asda only had Scarlet Spider today, along with a few Thor repaints for 2.50 and loads of gimmicky Spider-men for £5.

The Two packs were £19.99 each, hope that helps! I did notice that the psylock wave was £9.99 rather then the £10.99 we've been seeing in FP as of late. I wonder if they've realised that £10.99 is a silly price to have had in the first place...

I go away for one week and the London Planet gets stuff in...I've been going 2-3 times a week looking for Warlock and the Psylocke wave...unbelievable.

Has anyone checked out a Toys R Us to see if they have the Avengers stuff in yet? I just got my vouchers through and there is one for the line, also one for Spider-man stuff. Thought they stopped those, can't be for the movie stuff surely?

I checked at my local TRU today and they have the Quinjet and gimmick toys but no figures,I asked the guy and he said they are coming in the next couple of weeks.

As for ASDA,I got some Thor and Cap figures at £2.50 each and picked up Jim Lee MU Cyclops for £5.

Was gutted I didnt find King Loki or Laufey tho

Liverpool had a couple of the larger figures - Hulk/Thor - and the Quinjet. I've only seen the 3.75 inch range in The Entertainer so far, where I found Cap and Ultimate Hawkeye amongst others.

Avengers movie figures have been showing up at Asda - I picked up Ultimate Thor + Hawkeye (bit gutted Thor didnt even have swivel wrists :/)

So far I have seen the following:

Ultimate Thor
Ultimate Hawkeye
Super Shield Captain America
Rocket Grenade Captain America (NO Unmasked variants..yet)
Sword Spike Thor

Im guessing this is Wave 1??

BTW.....they were about £9!!!

Ditto the Asdas in Feltham and Hounslow. Same selection, but I also saw Heavy Artillery Iron Man, same price.

Got a Hawkeye. If he had a torso joint he would be awesome, wrists would be nice, but he can get by without them. Seems to stand OK without ankle joints so they're not really missed either. Price seems very high for Asda, only a pound less than the Forbidden Planet!!

I live in Cardiff as well but don't tend to go to Asda much!

Judging from the Entertainer this evening, Ult. Hawkeye is going to be a pegwarmer, also looks like £9 is the standard price now for a 3.75" figure.

Guess it's gonna be hard to find the new MU figures apart from at comic shops.

Liverpool One Entertainer has some IM 2 'mission pack' figure varients of Iron Man. I think the one I looked at said 'Shockwave mission' but I wasn't paying too much attention.

£5 each. Plus a few 12 inchers. £20.
