I am a HUGE fan of Chinabay....

I do however enjoy seeing them when I go on the weekly shop. It is fun hunting them down. That's why Star Wars TFA figures were so fun collecting. You could actually go out and find them.

Nothing I am dying for right now anyway. Quite a few I would like to have for sure. I don't mind waiting and going back to get them in a few years if need be. I skip around a lot with the line.

i was a huge fan of chinabay myself at one stage of my toyark existence.
it used to be fun hunting them down, now its a chore and at 15 each?i cant see myself keeping it up beyond 2017.when i started they were priced at 8.99.toybiz and hasbro(first attempt<<<not the repackaged stuff of today) legends used to be 15 or less and they came with bases, vehicles and proper BAF parts, now we are paying those prices for something a fraction of the size with bad articulation and thank god i stepped away from legends 6" nowadays they are 30 euro each?lol
also what was the cost of the collector set,i hear reports that it was overpriced, can anyone confirm?one of my lcs's may have it but i fear it will be ridiculously overpriced.

it will be priced higher, thats a given between 150-200 for sure.one thing ive noticed is how LCS in my area have increased their prices and the worse part is that they will remain priced in around the 10-15 mark for the next year or so EVEN if they dont sell, toystores like smyths still have winter soldier figures priced at 10 euro each.but really it has backfired seeing as they are stuck with a ton of stock they cant sell.fp have a bunch of doom 2 packs and older universe figures NOT selling at full retail.
dont get me wrong im all about supporting local business, but when they start getting delusions of grandure with their pricing system, thats when they can f@*k right off!!!they are not doing me any favors, really.in fact its me and others like me that are keeping their heads above water by buying their stock to begin with.

The set really is not worth it, I got it at cost and it's just underwhelming.

Really hope we see a turn around on Marvel efforts soon or I'm going to just drop out and spend the cash elsewhere.

definitely noted,i seen your link for the loose sdcc figures a while back, ukmu.seeing as hasbro are giving us a break from 3:75" till 2017 i might give CB a whirl one more time.
you certainly add to the disappointment towards that set with your comment jimmyo, was hoping that lockjaw and collector find their way into the legends(universe) line at some stage in 2017.

He really was a Marvel Legend.

I want to add my thoughts on Glenn Webb I only discovered his videos this year but he shares many traits with one of my favorite reviewers Thew Adams in which he has a comedic yet informative form of reviewing. I also liked some of his customs like the X-Force Nightcrawler and I loved that he was respectful to 3.75 figure collectors not something you see often with 6 figure collectors.

I wanted to donate to his GoFundMe, but I hate having to register on these sites. I wish there was some kind of Paypal payment link or something.

A bit off topic, anyone here has a Smyths toy store close to their home/work? I wanted to buy one of those Corps Titan tank but they don't ship to Portugal.

The Corps Elite Battle Titan Tank - Soldier Force & The Corps UK

Wondering if anyone would be willing to grab one for me and have it shipped to Portugal. If you could more or less estimate shipping beforehand would be great. Don't want to pay same amount for shipping.

Thanks

It would be quite expensive to ship. Not long ago I acquired a castle plays etc for a fellow member and it cost him more to ship to him than for the item.

Ye but I don't think this will weight as much as that. Then again I have no idea of its weight but I wouldn't mind having it shipped loose. The cardboard on that thing also makes weight.

EDIT: just for reference I've found someone selling this on ebay from Bolton, UK and shipping is £8,37, off course he is selling for a much higher price then at Smiths £47. If shipping would be this or even less if shipped loose I would gladly pay it.

Trust me the lowest format of shipping to Portugal would not be £8.37. Shipping international goes on weight and size. You would still need a box to ship it in.. so removing it from its light but sturdy box and then putting it in another box which would be thicker will add to the cost. Also it will have batteries which will need to be removed so it will need to be opened for that but could be returned in its packaging

Ok thanks. Maybe they are adding shipping cost to the actual price.

Happy to help you out, I checked the prices for tracked on Royal Mail - up to 750g would be 11.10GBP, a little bit more would be 12.50GBP.

Heads up.

Star Action Figures currently have 20% off EVERYTHING on their website until the 16th September.

Just picked up ML 3.75" Wave 2 for £55.96. That's just over £9 per figure - retail prices!!

Here's the link:
https://www.staractionfigures.co.uk/mlw2.html

Enjoy

It's actually about £8 per figure as you get all 7 including the Ant-Man reissue....

Ha! We probably all look in the same places I'm guessing

I have the Thor comic pack but it's good enough to pick up another to open, though my money's going towards the wave 2 comic packs

I take back any negative comments I've made on ID toys. Those guys are great to deal with. Reasonable non scalpery prices to, cheapest HACKS i've seen over here as well. Speaking of which, this arrived from ID toys today! I know these aren't MU figs but i'm so impressed with this line...
