What do you guys think about the characters so far in the beta? Black Widow surprised me out of the characters I've played as her close, mid, and long range moves are all useful. Those rolling grenades do some crazy damage. I got her to 28 and am going to retire her for a bit to play some other characters. I got Thing as a drop so I'm messing with him currently. Much slower comparatively, but that's to be expected.

I also played a bit of Hawkeye (my starting character choice) and Spidey (bought with the starter beta money). Hawkeye got boring pretty quick. Spidey felt like more of a ranged character but I didn't really mess with his melee tree because I know they don't work (like pop-ups and stun moves) on bosses typically.

played as iron man not so bad power set ,
hoping they release warmachine
played a little bit of colossus , DareDevil and DP havent tried overs yet but would be nice to at some point only playable for me at week-ends or holidays

though times are a bit ick at the moment hope they change it when game comes out offically

Only played Iron Man for starters, but got a bit bored of the game after a bit. The way it's designed to play is a bit lame.. no real necessity to join a party or anything. You can down a boss by standing next to people. It's a good time killer, but I won't get addicted to it like I previously thought I would. Still pretty fun for a small break from other games.

Well, let's hope we can keep the thread going once the game starts in full. I've considered moving the Alliance thread over as well, but it's been there for so long now I'm not sure I want to bother. Technically, MAA is a video game and does not belong with the toy discussion threads.

Both threads, without a doubt, belong here, but I just don't think this section gets enough exposure due to it obviously not being toy related. I think this game is great, and would enjoy conversing about it, but it takes 3 clicks and a scrolldown to get in here. That may seem like nitpicking or laziness, but honestly I think it's what the Net is coming to - Convenience.

Is there a user option to add a panel on the right side for something like "latest videogame discussion", similar to the other panels?

Been playing for a while now, about 2 months. Played Hawkeye(nicer than i thought), Cyclops(way worse than hawkeye), Wolverine ( was great, but healing power is a bit broken. By lvl 12, i gained HP faster than i lost it) and Hulk( Sooooo OP, so fun to play with!!)

Game is awesome! bosses in later levels( chapter 3 and above) force you to team up with someone.

I think I'm going to remain a free player when this comes out. It really does feel like more of a Diablo clone (Diablo 1 that is, and no where near the greatness of Diablo II) with a Marvel makeover the more I play.

It's fun for sure, but not the long lasting type.

Haha I've always wondered why it was in the Marvel toy thread, although does make it easier for me to post

Any ways saw my nephew play this game, looks cool but not sure if I want to play it. Kind of lost my gaming edge especially Marvel, besides MAA, the last Marvel game I played was Marvel Alliance 2 and I never did finish it...

At least you can take comfort in knowing it's free. Just as free as MAA. I think people look at the type of game it is and forget that.
