Surely some have 1/6 figures (or smaller) that uses the new silicone body instead of ball joints etc
I hear they arent recommended to stay on pose for long duration due to potential damage to the material. Please some 1 shed more light on this for I plan to get items that use the medium. thanks ![]() |

Silicone figures also stain easily. Be mindful of this when purchasing figures that incorporate soft goods, as dyes from those goods can transfer onto the figure. They can also be damaged by oils, dust and prolonged exposure to direct light sources, so remember to wash your hands or wear gloves when handling them, and keep them out of sunlight. Silicone figures look nice, and definitely more natural than plastic, but you are essentially renting a figure when you purchase one. There are so many things that can damage it over time, so do your research and check user reviews, care tips, and always evaluate your display options before purchasing, especially for big ticket items like Hot Toys or TBLeague. |

If the item has a silicone body with a metal skeleton, having the figure posed in a manner other than a neutral stance over a long period of time (like days or weeks depending on the quality of the figure...) will eventually damage the the figure. For example, if you have the arms or knees bent at an angle, often at times, the skeleton underneath the silicone skin of the figure will break through.
