THANK YOU! Jeeez, I had hoped that they were going to get released for the movie line but this is the first that I have heard they were actually going to. Supreme!

these are badass, I bet they cost to much to produce especially paint so they dropped them, only 2 I ever saw were these ones put on ebay and bought by the arker who made the page, 2 of the rarest IM figures out there IMO.

Well, the first Hulkbuster was a big bomb made so the Hulk would grab it, TOny would grab back with the armor, holding the Hulk in place so Tony, in the normal IM armor could eject and chuckle as a BIG bomb blew up all over the Hulk.

Calling it the "Hulk suckerpunch armor" would have given the suprise away!

What if he wanted to go up against massive space aliens though. A more powerful armor for like... massive Hulk-like beasts from space, or IN space, he might need more protection.

During Secret Invasion that's exactly what Tony had prepared-
He had a giant satelite rigged to sync with the War Machine armor and Rhodey's brain patterns- it unfolded into a giant mech and destroyed the vanguard of the Skrull invasion fleet.

Kinda makes these (awesome) mecha figures seem tiny and under-armed, right?

Great quote...BUT i personally think the most dangerous animal is a 10 foot tall Shark headed Spider.......with miniguns. (Even though technically a spider is an insect....)

Dude if anyone (even Mattel!!!) made a 1/18 scale Jesus-Buster armor with shoulder mounted Crucifix rocket launcher/Communion Vulcan Cannon and a Jesus figure to pilot it i would be ALL OVER that!!!

If I was a douche I'd correct you and say that "technically a spider is an arachnid." But I won't do that... Wait, oh crap.
Seriously though, there have been 2 toys that have gotten me excited; one was the Mcfarlane Halo Falcon (which who knows if that will get released or not) and these exo armors. I managed to snag the pics of the prototypes off of EBay before they were bought but they didn't show too much so getting to see them painted up here helps bring out the detail as well as getting to see how the pilot sits in them. Still excited and hoping they will get their release with the Avengers movie line.

So I poked a round a little and I found where Flipwilson may have got the release info. Over at Marvelousnews.com they posted Hasbro's planned wave for the Avengers movie as taken from diamond Comics...

New Avengers Movie Toys Announced Including A Quinjet - Marvel - MarvelousNews.com

AVENGERS MECH SUIT W/AF ASST 201201
Upgrade Iron Man's armor with these huge battle mech suits. Strap Iron Man into the suit to continue launching projectiles. Includes a 3 3/4" hero figure and large Battle Mech Suit Vehicle. On shelf 2/27. Online pre-sell begins 1/27.

AVENGERS STARK TEK BATTLE VEHICLE ASST 201201
The Avengers battle the bad guys in high tech vehicles! Designed by Tony Stark himself, these sleek 4x4's and jets are outfitted with lots of weapons and projectiles for a great hero play experience! Includes a 3 3/4" hero action figure. On shelf 2/27. Online pre-sell begins 1/27.

AVENGERS QUINJET CS
The "Quin"tessential Avengers vehicle! This impressive flying arsenal can convert into battle mode and take the Avengers into flight with plenty of firing projectiles and play features! Highly detailed - an absolute must-have for kids and Marvel fans. Includes a 3 3/4" scale Iron Man figure. On shelf 2/27. Online pre-sell begins 1/27.

Some of the new vehicle stuff talks about the Iron Man Mech Suits (plural so we may get both) Stark tek (which I am going to guess will be a repaint of some of the Captain America vehicles) and the Quin jet (which, by the description may be a multi figure troop transport so maybe something big?)
