I've spotted Luke, the pilot, and Colonel Cracken. Leia, predictably, seems to be the hard-to-find figure. Again.

Rebelscum.com has a nice look at yet another Discover the Force figure - Tusken Raider. Esentially, it's simply a re-release of the same figure released back in 2006 with a darker wash. However, anyone who has the original knows what an awesome figure it is! Comes complete with rifle, soft-goods robe and gaffi stick!
Enjoy! |

Super short Mawhonic is next in Rebelscum's look at the Discover the Force Star Wars subline. He's got a great sculpt and paint work and comes complete with a flag and rifle. If Pod Racer's aren't high on your list, I'd say pass.
But, Rebelscum does think he's pretty cool, so it's really up to each fan to decide. Pass for me though. ![]() |

For those of us who've yet to get our hands on any of the Deleted Scenes Vintage Collection figures, Yakface.com has a nice look at the first figure in the line, Colonel Cracken. Great use of sculpt, paint and acrticulation, this figure is a winner in my book, although it is a little upsetting no helmet or comlink accessories were included with the figure. The blaster and heavy cannon are nice though. Recommended!
Enjoy! |

Cracken's heavy blaster would look a lot cooler if it did not seem to be made from chocolate.
Easter is very different in the SW universe. |

The sale is in stores as well and includes Marvel figures . Unfortunately, I have never found anything good during a TRU sale in the past 3 years.

Darth Maul rounds out Rebelscum's in-depth look at the first set of Discover the Force figures being released exclusively at Wal-Mart retailers. He's nice and all, but I have to say, the Vintage Darth Maul is the one to get, while this third Maul offering, since The Phantom Menace hit theatres in February, is simply unnessesary. He comes complete with his dual bladed lightsaber, probe droid and two stands, one for him, the other for the probe droid. I really dislike that face too.
In my opinion, pass on this one and stick to the Vintage Collection offering from Hasbro! Enjoy! Last edited by Prowl 2009; 03-11-2012 at 01:45 PM.. |

Okay, Vintage Collection fans, check out the Rebel Pilot (Mon Calamari) figure review thanks to Yakface.com, the figure is part of the newly released Deleted Scenes Wave. It is a completely new figure, instead of simply using parts from past Rebel Pilot figures. Comes complete with a flight helmet and X-30 Lancer blaster pistol! This one is all win!
Enjoy! |

No thigh swivel though- he'll look great in a B-Wing but he seems to be looking down when standing up- at least in a vehicle he'd be looking at his instruments.

Is that the new swivel-hip Vader? I'm a buying the hell out of that!
That upcoming Anakin is going to be mine as well- the head looks like it'd make a great Zayne Carrick (greatest Jedi of all time!) custom! Y'know...that Colonel Cracken looks exactly like Adam West. Really- you could make a 60's Batman from him in a hearbeat. |

Next up in Yakface's look at the Vintage Collection Deleted Scenes collection is Lando Calrissian (Sandstorm Outfit). This is pretty much the ultimate skiff guard version of Lando, although the skin tone is a little too light and the figure is somewhat shorter compared to the first Lando figure released in this line. However, there is some great detail on this figure and he's loaded with some neat accessories. I'll leave the final choice up to each individual collector.
Enjoy! |

Holy crap- they made him white!
Not cool, Hasbro...not cool. Lando was one of the last brothers in the galaxy too...only Wilrow and his ice-cream maker are left. |

And I was looking forward to that Lando. LANDO IS NOT A WHITE GUY!!!
It's like the Family Guy Star Wars episodes using a black version of Mort as Lando. They should have used Ollie Williams or Principle Louis from American Dad for Lando. |

Damn! All these nicely sculpted figures coming out but none have the thigh swivel! I'd have bought a few Oddballs to make more AIM techs.....maybe I can saw him in half and use the top half or something.

Yakface.com has an awesome in-depth look at Deleted Scenes Wave Princess Leia (Sandstorm Outfit)!
This figure is sure to be popular with collectors thanks to the Slave Leia body and the combination soft and plastic goods clothing as well as superb detail and paint make this figure an even better version released in both Vintage Collection and Legacy Collection versions perviously released up to this point, although the plastic hair makes the head always seem like it's always looking to one side. However, this is hardly a reason to pass on this figure! Good all around and a must-have for every Star Wars collector! Enjoy! |

Hey..that looks great! Does she have thiigh swivels- it looks like it from that sitting pose.
Ah. I see from that link that she does, but it's pretty akward looking- why ake such a complicated upper leg when hasbro does a perfect job on MU and Gi Joe?!? Kinda senseless. Looks fragile too. Last edited by Jason Abbadon; 03-18-2012 at 08:06 PM.. |
