I dont know...the thigh swivel part is concealed anyway- I dont see how that could be it.

Maybe Hasbro is under contract not to share parts from or for it's SW run- I could see that as part of an exclusive contract...and SW has the most unique sculpts of any line too.

Yakface.com continues their in-depth look at the Wal-Mart exclusive Discover the Force subline with figure #3 of 12, the Destroyer Droid. The figure is an awesome repaint of the Droidika found in the 30th Anniversary Collection and the new paint apps look great! Accessory wise, you get 2 blast effects and half a deflector shield.

All in all, this figure has no flaws, although it would have been nice if the old deflector shield color had been used so collectors could have a single color, full shield effect, instead of two seperate colors. Still, an awesome figure that should be scooped up at any cost!

Enjoy!

I feel like these aren't going to make it to Canada. I wanted to pick up a couple of Destroyer Droids and these look like the ones to have.

Plenty of them at my Walmart.
I'm sure you could trade some G.I. Joe Jungle B.A.T.s for some. I heard Canada got a bunch of that particular G.I. Joe wave.

Yeah, I've actually seen them several places and passed. Had no idea they were hard to find. I don't keep up too much on the Joe stuff, just buy the occasional figure that I like the look of.

I have a regular anniversary B.A.T.s that I felt compelled to buy a while back because of how strange it looks. High quality figure, what does the jungle one look like, or are they the same?

I knew there was a reason I passed up that last VC Vader.

I like the proportions better and of course the new hip joints are cool.

just to be clear, it's the vader on the right in the pic, the one with the updated leg articulation?

Taller too! Very cool.
I'll just have to dullcoat the non-armored parts and gloss coat the helmet to make him perfect!

Then he'll take his place next to Doctor Doom and Cobra Commander- they have a lot in common!

I definitely like that the new Vader is a little taller, and obviously the hip joints are an improvement, but if this wasn't Vader we're talking about I'd be good with the Ep5 VC version. But it's Vader, so if there's a better one out there I need to own it.

I like this. I've been reorganizing my collection recently (translation: playing with my toys a lot) and I was thinking of doing a "villians you don't want to fuck with" shelf.

It's getting tough seeing the TPM wave around here shelfwarm. Very worried that I won't get to see any of the next 2 waves, when they contain my most anticipated TVC figures EVER!

Holy shit, those all look amazing!

But Shae's card art looks terrible.

Also, what's with the subtext? Just because it's an EU character, doesn't mean Hasbro needs to put some lengthy "Old Republic Bounty Hunter" for people who haven't played TOR.

NICE! I was thinking "Bethany Cabe" as she look like a hardass.
Then I'll but three more for customs- that's a beautiful female head and I'd bet it looks great with a hair-swap.

And of course, her armor is badass- PLUS she comes with two great looking orange/clear flame spray to have spitting out of her gauntlet or jetpack- perfect for many MU figures- Torch, Crystal, Deadpool's butt...
Starkiller there looks like a customizer's bonanza too- is that the same fig as the one from the box set or is it a new sculpt? Do either of these figures have swivel hips or is it the old T-crotchrot?

Is that white-carded Vader the one with the swivel hips or another re-release of the T-Crotch version on a white card?
So far, the white cards are the ones to skip (except the Destroyer Droid)- a whole line of "pass".
Makes hunting easier though.
