I can't wait for that Shae fig. I probably wouldn't pass up Starkiller, either if I saw him in the wild.

I wish Shae's face looked more like her card art.

What are you guys talking about? She's the perfect Hope Summers!

Now if you want to talk about a disappointing face sculpt vs. card art, check out Nom Anor.

Yakface.com has a nice, in-depth look at the highly anticipated Vintage Collection version of Grand Moff Tarkin!

Finally recieving the fully-articulated treatment, this is a very nice figure, sporting everything from a nice sculpt and paint job, to a screen accurate face as well as a MSD droid featuring working wheels and axels!

However, the figure does fall short in places. The skin tone is too pale, the uniform, to green. Also, what is with that soft goods piece?

All in all, to each his own, but I must admit, griping aside, I do like it and have been waiting quite some time for a Vintage version of Moff Tarkin.

Enjoy!

uniforms always look better molded. I dunno why they'd give that soft crap to a guy who never does more than stand ad sit imposingly.

Not digging the soft goods on Tarkin. Starkiller looks awesome!

The winner here is Shae (for me) Redheaded Mando chick? Yes, please! If I can score another one, I'll make a Pepper Potts Rescue custom.

It's Tarkin's apron- for Death Star Rib Night.
Vader gets the to-go box to eat in his room so no one hurls at the sight of his humpty-dumpty head.

Wrong hair for Pep- use ROC Scarlett with ponytail for her and Shae Vizla for Bethany Cabe!
Or repaint her eyebrows more arched and go for a Madelyne Pryor custom...
Or do like me and paint her hair black and make Sersi!

The cloth skirt thing on Tarkin looks kind of eh. Maybe I can swap the one from the First Avenger Red Skull or something.

Feast your eyes on the newest Target/Zellers Star Wars Special Action Figure set over at Sandtroopers.com! Being released later this year, the set includes R5-D4, Death Star Droid and a Gonk Power Droid!

Yes, I will be buying the set as I have yet to get R5 or a Gonk droid and the only Death Star Droid I have is the purple one in the comic pack with Boba Fett from 2007.

Enjoy!

Isn't Zellers now Target?
This set is pretty good. I skipped the R5 vintage one. Plus I don't have the others either.

They don't start converting over until the end of the year I think. And only like 90% of Zellers are becoming Targets so there will still be some left.
