The Valerian/Dane DeHann figure looks like a fucking zombie. Eew. The Cara Delevingne is a hot woman, and her Laureline figure looks pretty great. The K-Tron figure looks outstanding. It's weird that they made it, since those robots were literally in the movie for, like, 3 minutes. |

Figures look great. The movie was great also imo. I have this idea that male/action sci-fi movies do poorly due to culture. I am a big fan of John Carter and thought it was a great hero flick, but did poorly. I also love Lockout which stared Guy Pearce but the male audience just isn't there. Loved Edge of Tomorrow but again did struggle to make money. It seems only established franchises do well and testosterone driven sci fit does poorly. Valerian was a good action sci fi and I am thankful NECA did it. I hope the merch sells well. |

These look pretty cool! I may pickup the Cara figure as she may fit in with some of my Aliens stuff. One thing I was wondering. NECA doesn't generally use the printing technology so this sentence has me thinking.. "The printed cut on Valerian’s cheek looks out of place, with large printing dots visible, even from a distance" I haven't seen the movie, but I thought this printing effect was trying to simulate a glove wiping the blood off his face. Like maybe the texture of the gloves is represented here. It even has the shape of a finger. I could be wrong as I haven't seen the movie. Great pics! |

I saw the movie and I really enjoyed it. I highly recommend anyone who hasn't seen to see it. The movie is coming out on DVD, Blu-ray, and 4K on Nov. 27th. I'll probably only get the Laureline from this line though as she was my fav in the movie and I love Cara Delevingne. Plus I have my doubts that we will be getting that Hot Toys version of her.

I want these but I kind of want to put them with my Aliens figures. I feel like I could pretend they are part of a Wayland-Utani Enforcer Squad. If I could find some Wayland corp logos to put on the suits and K-trons. They could be my Corporate Enforcement Squad. The C.E.S, like an Aliens Black Ops group.

I saw this movie, and it was...'eh' at best. Kinda disappointing, as I'm a big fan of The Fifth Element. Hmm...you're not wrong. The zombie looks works better on girls, however. BTW, I like the suggestions in this threat regarding mixing these figures with an Aliens display. I think it would work well. |

Keen, but I'm disappointed Laureline doesn't come with Melo the Mül Converter.

I haven't seen the movie, but after seeing the trailer with like three or four of them in the shot it made me want to get at least four maybe even six of these bad boys. They look like an even better version of K-2SO. Reading the bio for K-Tron also makes me wish NECA included an alternate blue stripe head to represent the "walk" mode of K-Tron just for some variety in case of army building. Laureline and Valerian look nice too. I wish NECA was able implement a removable helmet with these figures as it would make them even better to army build a crew of intergalactic space police. I'm sure these figures have a ball peg system in the neck so it should be no problem to swap heads with one of the many alternate NECA heads I have for an easy custom. |

The K-Tron, I'm still messing with. In the pics, he looks way brighter just because of how I had to light him. The actual figure is is this metallic dark that has a nice shine, but also completely eats light, much like the darker parts of any larger Robocop figure.

Laureline looks good. I might pick her up, if I see her. Like mentioned, K-tron looks spectacular! Could see this figure in quite a few different figure set-ups.
