Can't wait to finally get a figure of old-ass Rick Deckard wearing a t-shirt and jeans.

While I have absolutely zero interest in seeing a sequel to a film that has no need for one, I'm really hopeful that this manifests into NECA doing figures of the original Blade Runner cast. Fingers crossed!

I'd prefer the real Blade Runner myself. I know that many companies have tried to license the original and it's supposedly a licensing nightmare. The trailer for 2049 didn't do much for me. We've seen the plot device already in both Tron and Star Wars, and a third go round of original star is missing doesn't do much for me.

If anyone can pull it off, it's NECA.

I hope so. I'm more excited about the prospect of the vehicles in Cinemachines right now than 2049 figures. But I'm hoping this is a 2-part announcement and at Toy Fair they unveil the original films license.

Great news! I would love figures from the originals as well, but you can't rule them out. All we really need is a good flashback scene in the sequel

When Randy teased a big announcement coming I was really excited. But, this does absolutely nothing for me. Don't like the original and the sequel looks bad. Plus, Gosling is kind of a right gobshite, yeah?

You know what I want from this? 7 inch scale Dios to match the figures a la Diamond Select.

Physical walls and buildings and streets. With all that neon and crazy shit it could be great BG fodder for years to come.

I know that's not NECA's normal MO, and things are probably already too far along to get em even if they thought it was a good idea, but, that's what I would dig.

I dug the first Blade Runner, so to see figs from that would be cool. And the new one looks interesting too

I'll take new Blade Runner merch anyday, even if it's from the (totally uneccessary) new film. Would be awesome if their license was for the original too.

man, i hope this deal ends up being a gateway to neca doing stuff for the first film. i think i'd be more interested in a spinner more than any figures though.

I feel exactly the same way -- sick and tired of punk, exploitative, disappointing reboots. Would love to see some good 6" figures from the original classic.

I'll just echo the hope that we see some original Blade Runner stuff too, if there are some cool designs, then I'll bite for some 2049 figures
