That Ninja figure is bad ass. I liked that character's looks right from the start.

These toys keep getting better and better. Too bad I told myself no more new toy lines this year.

Gotta get Gray Fox, since designed by Kojima himself. That's a must for sure. Can pass on Snake for time being.

There figures are excellent in detail and articulation. I dont have any of the Metal Gear Solid line but I have others made by the same company and they are excellent. I've also seen the first Metal Gear solid figures in person.

Yes, there are three versions of Snake on the market already. Battle Dress Snake, and Sneaking Snake (in the picture you posted), and Big Boss (grey prototype in picture) from the psp game MGS Peace Walker. This version of snake is representative of Snake's first appearance in mgs on ps1, or rather Snake's reappearance since the NES days. I hope they release even more versions of snake. Old Snake from MGS4 would be awesome. These can hold me over untill Hot Toys delivers some awesome Metal Gear figures hopefully sometime in 2012.

Grey Fox (the ninja) was also in mgs 1. Hope to see a Raiden in the future. These play arts figures are awesome. Battle Dress Snake was my first, but now I'm planning on getting figures from their Halo, Arkham City, God of War, and Stree Fighter lines.

These are awesome, but I really wish Hot Toys would show us what they're gonna do with theirs and give us a time frame so I can decide which line I wanna go broke on.

serious question, why are these so much more expensive than earlier releases? These 2 are 1000 yen higher in price than figures like that armored snake, which is almostthe opposite of what I would have expected considered the armored snake's bulk.

I think I'm gonna have to wait on these as much as I want them, the exchange rate being the way it currently is makes the prices unreasonable.

They're about 10 inches tall on average.

I'm terrible at scaling, so I don't know what exactly it would be.

I think it's like 1/8?

Anywhere that sells japanese imported stuff, like BBTS.

Speaking of which, BBTS pushed their Solid Snake back to June. Cyborg Ninja still says March, though.

Sorry for bumping old topic, but I didn't think a whole new thread was needed just to say the figure got pushed back.
