I work at a Walmart in Canada. It sucks. That's all I really got to say.

Same here- bith my Target and Wal Mart just got massively restocked- with revision cases, FF and X-Force sets.
Impressive selection of stuff I unfortunately already have or dont want.

Great for new MU collectors though!

IMO, if you have that much hate towards a company than stop shopping there, just pre-order or pay a few more bucks and buy everything your interested in online.
because some people(me included)like to be able to go to the store and buy the damn stuff right then and there and not have to wait, look, patience sucks, waiting for stuff sucks, the whole purpose of a store is to be able to go there and buy what you need, now granted some times you will strike out,but for those of us who dont want to order online going to the store only to find you have wasted time and gas for the 100th time in a week sucks!flat out, there is no other way to put it,no offense to you omega145 but I for one lack the desire to order online and prefere to be able to find things at brick and mortar.

I love getting things online, but I feel even better when I can trade with some one. I hate ebay really, I really, really do. So yea.

I love trading also, though I loathe the wait, waiting for someone to ship, waiting for the po to drop it off but thats all part of the game,I get that, the point some people dont get is this, the hunt is (or was) the fun of this hobby, but as of late(late being the last few yrs)there has been a huge lag in distribution, were this 08 or 07 I would not be typing this because I was lulled by all the figures I found or was in the hunt to find(with full intention of knowing eventually I would score that haul)though now days I have plenty of time to defend this stance because retail has become obsolete for the most part, yes we get a new wave once every few months but believe it or not there was a time when one could find a new wave once a month.

Well, think of it this way. You will find these new waves before I do. I was surprised to hear that the Dr Strange wave was seen in Zellers [Target]. Along with Sentinels. Wal-Mart Canada doesn't carry DCUC either, and very little MU. I got a feeling that the 2 figures left on the peg will stay there for a long time. Also, if they do sell, we will just get older figs.

Also, I would hate to be your parents on Christmas morning! :P

Walmart bugs me the most because they didn't even clearance MU or anything. It just disappeared. It's like they ate it because they were hungry from getting paid so little to work there..

Im included in that some people bud. I never pre-order or buy stuff from places like BBTS. If anything ill just try to trade with someone on here or have someone hook me up here if possible as more than a few people on here have been awesome with me and always hook me up with figures for cost+shipping. Im just saying that complaining is really falling on deaf ears as Walmart isnt going to do anything about it and ive heard these same complaints over and over and over and over again on hisstank and tfw many a times. Kinda getting redundant hearing the same complaints over and over again, did I mention that?

American companies worry about America first, Canadian companies worry about Canada first. I know if I was Hasbro I would make sure the USA is oozing with new product. Also, that christmas comment was to do with your patience. I can just see you bouncing off the walls wanting to open presents, more so than the next kid :P

not sure if you did bud,but what do you expect people in this hobby to say at the lack luster shape retail is in at the pressent?like you said to the op,if you dont like it then order online, well,if you are tired of hearing /reading these complaints then why just not read them and respond with advice that you know they dont want to hear,im quite sure the op knows if he wants to he can order online,no?

Wtf is a Go Bot? Lol.

On topic though. I still feel it is a lack of communication. Wal-Marts ordering system is shit, Hasbro pushing their cause and product is shit. I just accept these things and shrug.

Or maybe they clearanced it all when you were not there!
I was shocked to see the new Young Justice figures on clearance today for $4 and, for no reason I can fathom, a Death Star Trooper for $4 as well (which I snapped up).
Why clearance the DST? The Sw pegs are full of far less sellable characters (like the fat black guy with the bucket from ESB).
They seem to be random in their decisions there..so maybe the MU stuff went quick.
I'd probably snatch up a ton of extras at $4 a pop!

But down my way, "clearance" is almost unheard of- I was going to take pics of a Mk IV Iron Man, it's bubble covered in dust, with the head pulled off (it's the light up kind with the open blister at the top).
That was still full price (as were four racks of Thor series 1).

My Toys R Us NEVER puts anything on clearance- they still have T3 figures and those awful DCU 4" two packs of Guy Gardener and Black hand- nice and dusty.

I hate going there...I almost never leave happy and it's a pretty depressing store.

The thing im not sure about is why people continually complain about how bad Walmart is and then go on the toy hunt there and continually shop there.

It's like a bad drug. You know coke is bad for you, and you want to stop, but you keep on getting highhhhhhhhhhhh because, well, your addicted. So as a math equation it looks like this:

Wal + Mart = coke.

well what I am confused about is why people complain about reading others complain yet still read and partake in the complaining?

I see tham at TRU for 9.99 and I laugh. One time I just dropped them all on the floor and walked out.
