I'm here to rant about the $4.25 Thor/Goliath GB set I picked up this morning. Thanks for making me buy something that I didn't want, Walmart! You know I can't resist cheap toys! End of rant.

DO IT!

I know it's probably not the best thing to do, but really in a way, you'd be helping them out. It'd kick start the ones who don't have it in the inventory system, and it'd clear out the overstock for the ones that do carry it to get more in.

This particular Walmart decided to end their MU selling days after the Cable wave. All they've had as far as MU over the past month or so is a couple of $5 Stan Lee Cyclops, then all of the sudden this was out. All of the other Walmarts by me still carry MU and are full price, so I can grab an $8 Iron Spiderman or Mod Armor Ironman whenever I want.

Well, it would probably lead to your store getting replenished, but most likely the pegwarmers will pegwarm and confirm the store planner's belief that MU don't sell in the other store, so they'll never be added back into the mod.

The only person at store level who can get them added back in if they're not carrying them is the store manager.

I seriously HATE the fact that the Walmart closest to me has no Joes or MU. But the Walmart far away has the newest MU, Joes, SW and even Thundercats figs. Sometimes it seems like the toy gods are messing with me on purpose. LOL.

MU collectors are kinda weird though; they tend to realize they want something only after it becomes rare, and then not want them anymore when revision cases make them unrare again. LOL.

I mean back then like a bazillion Guardians peg warmed for like six months; I mean nobody bought them. I think it was the same way with Luke Cage and Flame-on Human Torch... nobody wanted them when they first came out... I saw Luke Cage pegwarming EVERYWHERE when that Thor wave hit. LOL. Now people are willing to pay twice as much for them. Weird.

If it makes you feel better, I primered a Black Knight custom this morning from a captain America nd cut the arms and legs off a Bucky, both for a Mantis custom and partly out of spite.

Also, I love the Guardian figure- that costume is one of the veryy best in comics- I was pissed when they changed it in the 90's, and happy it's back now.
I've got Guardian on a flying base with Snowbird on his arm (she's the blue owl figure that came with some ML fig or another).
Deal with this: I have TWICE the number of Alpha Flight members that you have!

I'm kind of in the middle of the road when it comes to Walmart. There are nine within 35 minutes of me here. I don't normally check the ones way out, but the three here in town are a mixed bag. One of them carries MU but doesn't have much on the pegs right now, one does not carry them at all, and one hasn't even reset their action figure aisle yet for Christmas. There are two walmarts south of me too. One doesn't even carry them and the other kicks some serious ass (knock on wood) when it comes to them. There is also one 30 minutes west that is my gold mine for them. It really varies here.
