Yeah, I seem to recall now that the reason I put him against the back of the shelf was to help prop him up, lol.

He has some issues for sure, he was originally released by Hasbro in the Ronan BAF Wave in 2007 and then re-released in the Epic Heroes line in 2013.

So it makes sense that a 12 year old figure will not hold up against the modern stuff that Hasbro is now producing, but I too enjoy him.

I'm okay with all his issues except the cape and the skirt they are both way too firm! I was able to get him stepping onto the diamond select throne and hold his hand up triumphantly and it looks great, but action poses are next to impossible due to the cape and skirt.

Might get this one just for the hood as it will likely be much softer and could possibly replace my epic heroes cape.

Sure, I'm all-in for a classic Doom, but I'm also down for this version. I didn't read a whole lot of Infamous Iron Man, but what I did read was pretty damn good, and it's one of the 'soft reboots' that I wish had stuck a little more. He was starting to go in a 'Doom 2099' direction, and that's not a bad thing in my opinion.

Either way, gonna be picking this one up.

There's a wave of figures I'd love to see. They should at least do Ghost Rider and Doom 2099.

I'd love to get any number of 2099 figures. Doom, Ghost Rider, the X-Men, Hulk... just gimme gimme.

Definitely. Miguel must be so lonely. With all the Spider-Man related waves they could throw in a few 2099 villains like Venom.

After we got classic Fantastic Four figures as Walgreens exclusives I think that built up a lot of expectations that we'd get classic Fantastic Four villains to go with those figures. It seemed like Walgreens was going to start playing it safe by getting the most well known versions of the characters.

Plus some characters just have to be repeated as the hobby grows. Having all those huge movies have brought more people into the hobby so you can't expect those new fans to go searching auction sites and the dusty parts of their local collectables store. It's not like Hasbro gets a cut then so better to make a few changes to sell the character all over again.

Toss in that us collectors are suckers for improvements so you can sell us the same character all over again with just enough improvements over the last release.

I want a classic Doom as much as the next person, and my only exposure to Infamous IronDoom was through the Riri Williams Ironheart/Ironman run but he was really good in that so I'm quite happy to get this. It looks really nice too, in my opinion
