IIRC, it was because of Yukio's "carefree spirit". Storm met her when the X-Men went to Japan and Wolverine introduced them.

Well hey Symbiote - they have loads more there if you want to snatch them up. The paint on The Thing is slightly different than the paint on the variant single card Thing they put out a while back. I'd hit that wal-mart up just for a look at their Iron Man 2 collection. But watch out! Don't let that stink-eye girl who runs their toy section catch you BREATHING on her collection. Trust me.

I know, Hasbro's distribution is horendeous. I wish they would have specific dates of release. When I was in Japan, when a figure was out on the 10th... IT WAS OUT ON THE 10TH...no question.

Once again, Hasbro does not control distribution....

...And why won't this horse stay dead? I keep hitting him and hitting him and he keeps getting up.

In my area, wave three is still hit or miss but it's becoming more common as waves 1 and 2 are sold off. Haven't seen wave 4 yet.

It that because most action figures are made in Japan?
Years ago on Ebay I was able to grab figures from the BATMAN 2003 Mattel line before they were released and the seller was from Japan.

This may have to do partly to it. But most of their products were producd in China...yeah sure, they are a hop and a skip, but would it not be better for Hasbro to give us spesific dates than vauge ideas of distribution?

They said that the Expanded wave of Star Wars was to be out at the end of December and they are not even in stores yet!!!

Kenner's distribution was terrible, Hasbro's distribution is even worse, but Mattel's dstribution is horrendous.

Hasbro does not have a contract with Wal-Mart, et al. where they (Hasbro) can dictate when their products will appear on the shelves unless there is a specific street date (such as with ROTF) set.

In other words, Hasbro CANNOT give us a date since THEY don't even know. All Hasbro knows is a rough estimate for when the products are shipped from the factories to the retailers (based on order dates). It's all up to the retailers who bought the product from Hasbro to put them on the shelves. It was the same for Kenner, it's the same for Mattel and it's the same for most other manufacturers.

Picked up the Bulldozer/Thing and the Storm/Nightcrawler packs today. My Nightcrawler has the same issue as my Doc Doom I got from BBTS. If you try and pose/turn the head it comes off.

Hey guys, Unfortunatly I've had to cut down my collections and the MU line got the 1st blow. I have the rest of my figs up on ebay if anyone cares LOL. Just got to many collections going on at the time and this one was the smallest and easiest to stop. So good luck and happy hunting.
