I hear ya. I really wanted to know what the scientist told Grimes at the end of the season finale. They teased us with it in the opener but dropped it as the story developed.

So true there are books on such events. A house on stilts with a drop down ladder could be safe. I often think about the Zombie apocolypse while driving on my way to work. I think about what I would need and where would be a good place to get it. Weapons, canned food, water. I look for buildings with hight windows in strategic defendable areas.

I would need to raid a gun shop, stop by a supermarket and commondear a water truck or be near a water tower. I often wonder about how many bomb shelters there must be around here as well. Underground does not seem to be a bad place to be.

On all of Van Isl, we have 747,281 people on it. No zombies from main land could make it over because of a body of water. If the zombies starts on the main land, Van Isl would shut down everyhting to make sure no one can get in, or out. Lucky for us we have our own power supply, food, water, ect. IF zombies don't start here, on paper it is one of the safest places in the world.

But in one of George Remero's Zombie movies with Dennis Hopper the zombies walked along the bottom of the water. I would also like to be up north though. You would think dekaying flesh would not hold up well under colder conditions. The desert would be the worst place to be I think.

Im telling you guys. If Z day actually ever happened all our best laid plans would be shot to shit. I mean yeah an island seems all well and fine but like Mike said they just walked along the bottom in Land of the Dead. Plus whenever there is a "safe place" thats where every survivor wants to be. Including the survivors hiding a bite. Plus weapons are of no use when you run out of food in water. I personally think the only way to survive is to keep moving, creating larger and larger perimeters and EVERY one needs to do their part. That includes killing any zombies whenever you can with the mindset of. Well thats one less.

Yes it does indeed. Can't wait to see how far we get. It honestly looks like we may get a bit of a ways.

Darryl is still hands down the best new addition to cast. New episode is what I expected it to be.

Just finished it. So far, even though it isn't very much like the comics. Heck, I think it's BETTER. I am glad that _____ isn't dead, because he has easily become one favorite character, which is bad. I wonder if we will see the Governor in season 3/4.

I like new plot points but overall still prefer the comic over the live action drama.

Based on this pacing, I really want to say we might not get Governor this season.

Hmm, I wouldn't bitch, problem is I can see them...not making it as crazy as the comics. That I will bitch about...

Good episode, kinda wondering if this season is going to be like last where IMO, the first couple of episodes were excellent while the rest of the season was blah.

Possibly since it's deviating a lot from what most comic readers know. Though it is a bit early to say still. Whatever the case, it's enjoyable for what it is with the new plot points.

I thought this last episode was a little slow. They always end on a clif hanger which is nice but I would like to see more story progression. And where the hell did that little girl go? She's been missing for like 2 days. lol Screw her, all she had to do was stay put. Now look what has happened. Are they going to stay on the farm or keep moving? The farm folk have been nice but they have to have a skeleton in their closet. I thought they were going to tadda yadda the sergery but instead they drag it out. I also can't believe that they did not run into more zombies on the highway. You would think that when the zombies eyes cloud over that they would no be able to see well. Also what part about being dead makes you able to smell better than someone who's alive?

I've got to be honest, I think the first two eps were boring. Outside of the two zoMbie attacks it was slow and contrived. And ------ will be dead eventually, I guarantee.

I think its better to forget about the show then go back and watch it all on demand in a row.

I agree I'm tired of waiting the entire week for a new episode that will end in a clif hanger. I did that with Dexter only because I didn't get the pay channel it's on.

I agree with everything you said. As I've said before, the first episode of last season was amazing to me and the next couple were pretty good. The last few episodes were very slow and kind of pointless. The episode yesterday was kind of in the middle for me. Im hoping that it picks up and is more suspenseful along with a little more action. Trying to get the viewer to feel for these characters really isnt working for me since there are too many characters and its hard to focus on the storytelling of specific characters to make it seem like we know about them and actually care about them individually.

The character list right now is actually thinned down from what it is in the comics at this point (well...as close as possible omitting others). Still it's a smaller cast than what it originally could have been.

I enjoyed the episode. Maybe I am the minority but I much prefer a story then a series of cheap zombie shots.

I want a story too.. I just want it to progress in 60 min. Not lead up to a clif hanger every time. Overall I still think it's great TV & I hope they can continue the series as long as it has to be.

I dont mind cliffhangers at all but the progression in 60 minutes needs to be a little better. The first season moved along well and then in certain spots the story dragged with not much progression and I saw bits of this in the episode last night.

I think this may be due to the fact that this season will be thirteen episodes and not six. So chaces are they plan to have the entire season take place on the farm. This episode I felt was more for the character personality rather then the plot. It also seems to share the comics slow pacing.
