My local WM put MU on clearance as well as ML. They kept the Avengers and Spiderman merchandise though, even the shitty Batman figures.

All of mine recently cleared them out but they just reset and the pegs are still there. I think they are just making room for new stuff by getting the peg warmers gone. Employees might see that and think it means that store will no longer carry the product since most toy line come and go. I just think that the average employee isn't familiar with toy lines that keep going over years. Was it the manager?

Wallyhood has stopped with MU in my territory. I don't even bother going there anymore. Strictly TRU, Target, and LCS.

Honestly, I prefer it this way since there's nothing more depressing than having to go to a Walmart.

I, personally, aren't getting too worried about it. I won't be worried until all of the spider-man and Avengers stuff is gone, and there still isn't MU.

The way I see it, it's like when Dark of the Moon came out, there were less of other toyline Transformers out at the same time, but once DOTM hit clearance, they pulled out their old Generations and eventually TF Prime figures.

If there's still no new MU in my local Wal-Mart by next month, maybe a month and a half, then I'll consider it a lost cause. Although even then, I'll probably still look periodically.

Can't wait till we get Target up here. They are taking over Zellers, which always has good MU stock but at $13.99 for retail! I never even go inside those stores with the thought of toys.

One of my walmarts stopped carrying MU. But the rest still do even after the reset.

Though previously, I've had another walmart stop carrying them and then pick them back up. It happens. with the way things were for a while, I am not suprised, but I am also not suprised if they pick them back up what with the new waves and such. Next Reset we'll see them back.

My main Walmart had the reset just a week ago, and still has MU, but only two pegs of it. they put the 2 packs down under a shelf where its hard to see, yet they are the new ones. I keep turning down the hulk/wolvie two pack since I don't like the wolvie and plan to get a case with hulk in it, but waiting is killing me.

Wow, this thread was started in March of 2011. Apparently, this fear is nothing new.
The Walmarts near me have officially stopped carrying MU, I was told this. I think it kind of sucks because they seemed to stock it frequently and their prices were fair.

However, like my man Shockwave said..

Nope it means they will no longer carry them.
My Walmart has done the same thing.
They moved the boys aisle behind the bike racks in the corner of the store. Previously that's where they had all the pre-school stuff. The Hotwheels/car aisle is the same size. However the action figure aisle has been completely reduced to one side of an aisle. No more MU anywhere. Morons! I will give them a little while to clean up then I'm going to the only Walmart that still has some. I will buy up all the peg warmers & return them to mine.
They dump MU yet they keep the Thor movie & Cap movie figures at FULL price!!!
Even all the Transformers are on clearance at my Walmart.

The 3rd closest Walmart did the same thing last year. It took them long enough to get them back. I think they are doing the same this year. So instead of 1 Walmart not having any MU now it is 2 of 3 stores.

To be perfectly honest, most retail stores in my area are full of garbage. I'm forced to literally drive everywhere just to find different figs.

That seems like a bit of an over reaction. My walmart has some MU on clearance but they also have the Star Wars v-19 torrent on clearance and in newer packaging two aisles oveer for $10 more.

One of them even has last years SW vintage collection on clearance, on the same peg as this years none clearance selection.

My local wally only has two Dr. Stranges and that damn power man/iron fist comic pack.
The other Wally near me has had the hasbro boxes waiting to be opened in the floral section for two weeks. I'm beginning to only resort to my comic shop and TRU for MU. What a shame :/

Man, I WISH my Walmart would clearance some MU!
I'd stock up on Steve Rogers (perfect universal body for customs) and Ultimate Magnetos (which repaint fine in the AIM agents they were destined to be!).

But it aint happening.

I almost wonder if they are dropping them through year-end to focus on all the Spider-Man, Avengers and pre-Avengers movie toys through Christmas instead.
