Hey, if you have an extra unopened TRU Exclusive Evolution of Groot figure or if you can find one easily for retail price I would love to do an even Trade for the New unopened Warlock Wave Jim Lee Era Cyclops figure.

My Toys R Us either never got the Exclusive Groot figures or the scalpers beat me to them. I am sick and tired of driving to TRU every day looking for this Groot. A few weeks ago I spotted an unopened case of Warlock Wave X-Men figures on a cart at Target. I asked an employee if I could open the case and I snagged the rare Cyclops figure. Cyclops is New in his Original Sealed Package. I was going to keep him, but I decided that I'd rather have the new version of Groot instead. I would like to do an even trade for the figures. I don't expect the Independence TRU at 40 Highway and Noland Road to ever stock the Evolution Groot...Or even the new X-Men or GotG waves since they recently reduced their Legends figure pegs to cut in the giant cosplay Marvel pieces, plus those pegs are clogged with Doctor Strange, Juggernaut and Allfather waves. With only minimal price reductions on these peg warmers, don't expect them to go anywhere and subsequently that's why there's no new waves coming in there.

Heck, I only saw part of the Sandman wave there only once, and that was before Christmas. Maybe you would fare better at the Overland Park TRU in your quest for Groot?

I actually live up north and usually stop by the TRU at 169 and Barry Rd. They have a peg for the Exclusive Groot but it's just got the regular Guardians wave on it. I did stop by the TRU on Nolan Rd. On my way to a hockey game last week and it was just as bad as the one on by me. I think guys who stock shelves there intercept exclusives like this and sell them on ebay to supplement their income. Every time I ask someone they never seem to know what I'm talking about and don't seem to care. If it weren't for exclusives like this, I wouldn't even bother going in there.

I have had luck at the TRU across from Oak Park Mall but it's an hour round trip for me to drive there. I have tried to call and ask about certain items in the past, like the 7 inch Neca Chris Reeve Superman, and they're never any help. It's just a job to them and they don't know or care about store exclusives. I understand they probably don't get paid enough to give a crap about whether some grown man gets the action figures that he wants.
