Has anyone found these anywhere but TRU yet? Have any been seen at Target or Walmart (or equivalent) yet? Just wondering if I should be hitting up all the stores around here, Or just TRU late in the week. Thanks.

I haven't seen them at all yet man. I'm finding a bunch of revision waves at walmart, and wave 10/revision waves at Target. TRU has stragglers from the summer waves last year.

I havent spotted any on Long Island, NY but then again I never really spot anything of significance as all the good stuff is always gone by the time I show up but I havent heard of any NY sightings other than stuff bought online by way of eBay or pre-orders. Talk about a run-on sentence, haha. |

Same thing here, getting sick of seeing the same ole when you know there's goods out there, somewhere. Its more frustrating than just randomly hoping to get lucky.

Found Gladiator, Wolverine and Apacolypes at Target. The guy there told me there is a guy that goes every morning at 8 am to check and when there is new ones he usually takes them all.

I knew damn well she didn't know wtf she was looking for and was only looking to scalp. I replied "uh oh yea, really? Yea..that's cool". In reality I was in disbelief. No way granny would want Marvel Legends to play with them.like I do.no.freaking.way. Well that and she only knew the names on the list, not what said characters even looked like.

Yea...I literally stopped where I was in disbelief. It was like Wayne's World when those 2 nerds recognize Wayne and Garth and ask them if they are Wayne and Garth..and they reluctantly deny it while pause, creeped out.

I'm not so sure this granny was a scalper. When I was a kid my grandmother would always hunt down He Men and other 80's toys for my cousin. So maybe her list was just a shopping list for her grandchildren. But with todays economy and the hard times seniors are having, maybe she's found a new way of supplementing her income. |

My TRU must've recently stocked the new wave. I saw that kitten looking Wolverine yesterday and the Silver Samurai 2 pack (big pass on both for me). Those are probably two of the dumbest looking Woverine figures I've ever laid eyes on. I can see why a hardcore Wolvie collector would need the first appearance version, but the one that comes with the Silver Samurai looks like something straight out of 1992. To make my trip worth it I was going to get Spidy Woman, Spidy 2099, and WW Hulk, but there was one of those major issues at checkout where a welfare looking mother needed to argue about prices and make a scene over probably about $3.80, so I dropped my loot and let out a good "tsss" as I walked by the piece of trash that was busting out of her sweat shorts.

That first wolverine is totally dumpy though.. but the one with silver samurai has awesome hands. |

This is why I gave up on the hunt and just use BBTS and HTS when I can. Between waiting for months on end for them to show up, scalpers, and gas cost for hunting, just sticking to online has really balanced it out for me. Though I still have to hunt for certain figures, and others that'll be easy to come by because of street dates are a non-worry. |

				 | Quote: In philly you say? Hm, hopefully this wave keeps creeping its way on over I have not seen any signs of it touching any of the shelves near me yet. Only spot I saw a few of them was a comic shop, and they were horridly overpriced.. didnt stop me from taking the Jim Lee cyclops though, even at 15 bucks I figure it was fine considering single pack status. That first wolverine is totally dumpy though.. but the one with silver samurai has awesome hands. I don't know where you are, but if I can save you a trip to the South Philly TRU; they didn't have anything new as of about 1:00 this afternoon (there was a Ghostrider, Spidy Woman, and Spidy 2099, if you need any of those).
