I'm confused by these. I guess that they are supposed to be used like a record weight, and help with vibration damping? But have they released any information on how heavy these are supposed to be? Too heavy could damage records or could be a strain on a turntables motor. But I could see record enthusiasts that use a record weight not wanting to stray from what they are already using, and anyone interested in one actually getting a weight that is made and advertised as a weight, and not a statue that you can put on your turntable.

I picked up a turntable and tried out the Frankenstein one. It sits on there fine, but I didn't notice any changes. They aren't heavy, so I don't think these can reasonably be used in place of a weight. They're more decorative than functional. I'm mainly going to sit them at my desk as mini busts, since they're small and don't get in the way of anything.

That's kind of what I figured. I wouldn't mind having the Frankenstein and the Bride, but I think if used for their intended purpose they would just get in the way while I am listening to a record. Just another thing I have to deal with while flipping sides.
