Even though I'm long out of collecting the line, and no longer have any of the toys, I still have a warm affinity towards it as a whole. Who else here liked/loved the line, and what were your favorite figures? Do you still have any figs? Post pics if you got 'em!

I've LOVED the line forever, thanks to my unhealthy addiction to dinosaurs in my childhood, but never got a single one.

I do, however, have some Smithsonian versions of the dinosaurs, Kentrosaurus and Monoclonius.

Yes! Indeed, show the love! I wish I still had the Dipladocus(or however you spell it) and the Pteradactyl. I know the larger Dinos are a pretty penny when they're MISB or just loose and complete.

Of all the DR's I had when I was a kid/early teen, I'd say the Torosaurus was probably my favorite. Fantastic figure. Here's a list of what I did have:

Deinonychus
Monoclonius
Pterodactyl
Quetzalcoatlus
Torosaurus
Ankylosaurus
Styracosaurus
Triceratops

I may have had more, but that's all I can remember.
The Tri-Tops was cool, and the only thing that put the Toro over it IMO was the lack of armor the Triceratops had. He just had that "unprotected" look.

I loved that entire series, even the Ice age ones. I really wish I had some of them back.

I know this is an old thread but I didn't want to start a new one if there was an existing one.

I am so upset, I was putting my Pteradon seat together, my original and the thing turned to dust.

The plastic on mine had turned a little off colored.

I was thinking about tracking down more sets, since my original Triceratops is missing a few bits.

I have a Ankylosaurus I got a while back as well.

But my main question is, is the plastic this bad on them all now I don't want to shell out alot of cash then have this GPS like problem happen on them all.

Personally, I think this line is ripe for a resurrection.
The dinosaurs were very advanced for the eighties, and that's one of the reasons it stood out. I think upgrading the dinosaurs with the most current theories about them, and apply the same principles of futuristic weapons and armor and aliens and stuff, and you could have truely one of the most epic lines ever.
Plus a chance to make a line of dinosaurs that's somewhat realistically scaled.
You can have your basic twopacks which comes with a dude, and a small/tiny dinosaur like Velociraptor, who may serve purposes more like a police dog for his/her partner.
And lets make the dinosaurs fully articulated while we're at it. (As awesome as the jurassic park dinosaurs are, their articulation sucked, just like almost every other dinosaur toy in existance)
