I walked in to my Toys R Us today looking for some new Thundercats and stumbled upon this GI Joe. At first I wondered what version of Snake-Eyes it was as I've never seen a Snake Eyes look like that before... then I noticed the Cobra symbol on it's chest and took a look at the stand at the bottom of the package. It's Firefly in a Snake-Eyes packaging. It's not a toy swap or anything as it's still sealed. |

Is that actually worth anything? I'd rather just get it for the Firefly.

Surprisingly a lot of collectors like to collect factory errors.

I think it's interesting and to the right person easily worth more than retail. I would have bought it just for the error alone.

I would have picked it up if I had found it. Errors like this are neat to find.

lol, on a sort of related topic, the local Target has the "Assassins Creed" line of figures & for some reason someone stuck a Star Wars figure in one & some Indian (Native American) figure in another. At 1st I thought, who are these guys, then thought it was a packaging error but after a closer look, I saw the plastic had been cut open & those figures placed inside.

Looks like a re pack to me, you can kind of see where the package tore up at the top. I hope you kept your receipt unless you planned on opening it, I don't think its worth much more than a few pages of internet scorn. Just kidding, nice find. |

lol why would someone trade a snake eyes, which im sure are 5 per case for a firefly which seems like a harder figure to find. Mind you I dont collect joes as they are stupid hard to find at retail all i see are Jungle Vipers and Snow Destros so i may be wrong here.

				 | Quote: Also, I've had the most luck at finding new Joes at Targets. Walmarts royally suck right for hunting Joes right now. I'm not sure if they even plan on carrying the line anymore, though I did find a POC Cobra Commander (classic helmet w/cape) there.

Not sure if the original is an actual factory error but here's a good example I just picked up.

Tose types of errors seem to be happening more and more often. I wonder if they just ran out of Duke cards and just kept going with what they had in stock. Still interesting and collectable.
