When the ROTS line came out, lots of the clone troopers were rather hard to come by, specifically the commanders and stuff. I kept lots of my clones MOC and in cases cuz they were just so cool. But now I'm feeling a need to downsize and shrink, and I'm wondering what to do about some of these. Some of the clones are going to the toy show to try selling (super articualtion, quick draw, black pilot variant, etc) but I've got a Commander Bly, Target exclusive Utapau Shadow Trooper, green commander variant and Commander Gree that I still have MOC. I kinda wanna keep em, but i'm wondering if they're worth enough to even try selling, or if maybe I should just open them? Opinions?

Not sure on the pricing, but I would suggest checking on Ebay and the like before taking them to a trade show. Granted, it may not be the most accurate of measuring sticks, but it's a good place to start.

My guess is only the most rare and most popular ones will have any significant increase in aftermarket value.

Just open them. They aren't worth squat. Even if you were thinking of selling them you'd get more takers loose than carded because the shipping would be cheaper. I opened my four shadow troopers long ago.

hardly a trade show. it's a small community center with small collapsable tables, a $30 vendor fee and maybe a couple hundred buyers tops.

Sounds like there would be even less of a demand, given the smaller venue size and potential customer base.

Yeah, I'd say you might as well open them. Or, if you're going to be at the show anyway, you could always try to sell them and open what you don't sell after the show.
