Does Hasbro double tape packaging? Need help

Just bought a Marvel Legends Rouge (expensive!) BUT... the box is double taped. Really stoked to finally get this figure but I was bummed when it showed up double taped (it was sold as MISB on eBay) so I’m sketched out on wether I paid extra for a used figure. Anyone have experience with Marvel legends boxes being double taped? Should I just return and try against?

Never had one double taped. If the joints are tight, and condition is good, I’d keep it.

i havent come across a figure "double taped" I would recomnmend what Archangel said

Thanks for the responses. I went ahead and sent it back. Fairly sure the guy resealed it. Why pay five times retail when I can get a loose figure at half the price?

Could you really find a loose Rogue for "half" what you paid for boxed? Did you ever get one?
To be honest, that sounds like a shady return and more unhappy about the price that you paid. Let me know your eBay username so I can block you from bidding on any of my listings.

Eh. He did say "it was sold as MISB on eBay", so honestly, as a regular eBay seller, I'd kinda side with him in this case. I'd have to see photos to say without a doubt, however. Either way, as below...

I just had this conversation with a buyer. I have never noticed this before until he pointed it out to me so I decided to look at all my ML's and I wound up having a few of the figures that had double tape on them. Here is a list of my figures and where I bought them.

1. Human Torch - Wallgreens store in the states
2. Elektra - Toys R Us Philippines
3. Spider-Punk - Hobby Shop in the Philippines
4. Carnage - Toys r Us Philippines
