With the new Ultimate spiderman gaining popularity, do you guys think we will be getting more ultimate universe figs? We are getting magneto, Peter Parker spidey, etc. But I want to start getting ultimate xmen, ultimate Thor, ultimate avengers, etc.

On the other hand, with AoA nightcrawler joining the ranks of uncanny x force, and AoA characters appearing in the current comics, could it be possible to get characters in figure form? AoA nightcrawler is obvious, but what about the other?

I think these two are possible, because hasbro is now including minor characters in the MU line, and they are running out of spider mans, wolves, etc, think it's a good possibility.

What do u guys think?

Who knows with the ultimate peter spidey coming out there could be a Miles Morales variant. Also we need an ultimate Thor like yesterday.

Id rather see them focus on the normal universe for now. Ultimates is just going to double the list of figures on the to-do list and make it take even longer before we all get the ones we want.

The first Captain America figure they made (2009 wave 2) was the Ultimates costume, so it's always been incorporated in the line to some degree. I'd like to see them take advantage of it more, personally. I'd love me some AOA figures in the MU line.

I always thought that was the Ultimate. The only thing that made me doubt was I'm used to Ultimate Cap having Stars on his shoulders.

I would absolutely love AoA multipacks. The *old* Age of Apocalypse. Not the renewed stuff.
An Astonishing X-Men, Amazing X-Men, Gambit and the X-Ternals, Generation NeXt, Factor X, Weapon X (Logan and Jean, as well as some of the freelancers like X-Man, Angel and such). And Apocalypse and the Horsemen.

I would buy these up in a heartbeat. And forget about making them individual releases. Just store exclusives, like the Giantsized X-Men set. That way the non-fans can ignore them, and those like me can get them all in one swoop.

Like someone said already. Lets focus on getting the other characters we want before these. Ultimate Hawkeye is a want for me. ANGEL AND KRAVEN ARE NEEDS!

Just make a Marvel Universe Holocaust/Nemesis and I'll be happy.

I'd buy an Ultimate Deadpool though.

And c'mon, howbout a Marvel Zombies 3 pack?

I think if Marvel Zombies were more current than it might have actually happened, but there is no way they'll do that now. That said, I'd buy them if they did.

If they were able to time it just right to coincide with Halloween (Like they did the Marvel Legends Marvel Monsters fourpack), then it might not be so unlikely.

It's pretty likely.

We already have Ultimate Captain America, Ultimate Ironman, Ultimate Ironman current(movie armor in ultimate colors), Ultimate Magneto, Ultimate Spider-man coming, probably Miles announced at NYCC, and with the avengers movie coming up that takes a lot of cues from ultimate, we'll probably see more Ultimate Avengers alongside an ultimate giant man GBP. Ultimate Nick Fury pretty much is Movie nick fury so that's taken care of too. So yeah, I'd say it's very likely, but slowly over the next couple of years with MU, Avengers, Ironman 3, Amazing Spider-man, Cap 2, Thor 2, The Wolverine, X-Men, fantastic four reborn, and whatever else is coming our way theatrically. So yeah, just be patient. For MU at least we may not be seeing anything until maybe wave 4 2012 at the earliest besides ultimate magneto, but that doesn't mean avengers won't, and wave 4+ 2012 won't.

These Avengers movies (Cap, Thor, IM1/2) seem to be pretty darn successful for the most part, so if Avengers turns out well, then we can assume more spinoffs and consequently action figure lines, so eventually we'll see most of the wishlist items I'm sure.

The movies are successful so far, sure, but the toy lines are another matter altogether.

I think people are going to be very surprised and disappointed at just how small the Avengers toyline ends up being, because if the last two years are any indication, retailers keep "downsizing" the Marvel movie-related lines because they keep turning into pegwarmer-fests.

At this rate, there will possibly be Thor, Captain America, and Iron Man 2 product STILL on shelves when the Avengers movie product hits.

As for alternate universes? We'll continue to get Ultimate and maybe a few other AU figures sprinkled into the line. Main characters first and foremost, though. I bet, for example, we'll get a comic-pack eventually that might have Ultimate Iron Man and Ultimate War Machine (repaint w/ new head and helmet). Plus the way the MU line has generally operated, a Miles Morales Spider-Man is pretty much a certainty within the next year (I'd bet next fall or so...took 'em about a year to do "Commander Rogers" once he appeared, so I bet the timeframe will be the same for Miles Morales Spider-Man).

I say, before we get Ultimate versions of people we already have (no matter how cool I think they are), we get regular versions of people we don't have. Sooo many main characters to still explore. I know we all have our background characters we love and want to happen, but there are actual big names that kids would even still want they haven't even released yet.

we already have a good influx of alternate reality characters. We dont need to saturate the market with them. a few a year works. We've had Ironman 2020, Spiderman 2099, 2 Ultimate Captain Americas, Ultimate Multiple Man, Ultimate Ironman, and we are getting Ultimate Magneto and Spidey. If you wanna get technical, Cable is an Alternate Future. We have a good influx of them already and I dont want a giant increase in Ultimate production. a couple figures a year works. Keep the universe 90% 616

I don't care what team, universe, comic spin-off, etc, that they're from as long as they're good looking figures. I mix and match my Marvel worlds with what I feel is the best figure of a particular character. For example; WW Hulk is my Hulk.

But to answer the thread's question, I'd love some more Ultimates.

I'd like to see a comic pack with Ultimate Thor (new figure) and Ultimate Iron Man (re-release from IM2 line)
