ok, so since the 2010 waves seem a bit more scarse of marvel universe figures, I had managed to procure Wave 2 and 3 via hasbrotoyshop.com, which is awesome in its self. retail price and all.

but why, oh why, did hasbro have to group wave 4 in this giant set and make us have to pony up 82 dollars? Half of those figures I dont even want! They did the same thing with wave 3 after the single figures sold out real fast. They restocked it in another 82 dollar bundle

and I just have to ask. What the Heck, Hasbro!
since I live in dayton, which seems to only get the new stuff in half of the city(And it gets sold out fast) it makes it hard for me to collect properly. I

have a Walmart that has yet to get any of the 2010 waves, or the Dr Doom wave of Comic Packs. Course that Walmart is also in the worst shape ever

I feel for you man. I'm in the same boat here in central FL. I wish that Hasbro Corp. would understand what figures are popular versus the non-popular. Prime example, Archangel is very hard to find and short packed. If Hasbro Inc. would produce more of the better selling/most popluar figures, they will make boat loads of money. There must be an executive who evaluates the trends of what is hot vs. the not so hot. And speaking of Wally World, very depressing that their store section is very depressing. TRU and Target will be getting more of the consumers money if Wally World does not make any drastic changes.

I propose a 7th wave for this year. Call it the "Best of 2010" wave, which features rereleases of the top selling(or voted) figures of the year. Thor, Kitty pryde, Archangel would be on the list.
A revision wave that would allow those who cant find what they want a chance to find what they want

Last week a couple of the local Wal-Marts (and one of the K-Marts) had Marvel universe on clearance, including Hammer Files Spider-Man and Iron Man. Then last night I was at another Wal-Mart and they were in the middle of their pre-Christmas shopping reset. The charts they had posted showed Marvel Universe 3.75" as going from one column of pegs to four columns.

Maybe Wal-Mart has been holding back the 2010 product and it's about to hit big? I know last year one of our Wal-Marts was swamped with Marvel Universe about this time.

I like the best of 2010 idea, or best of class idea, release an updated wave of all the hard to find figures for me would be bullseye, thor, etc, basically the 1-2 hardest figures to find from each wave would be decent, Anybody know if wallmart does lay-a-way? I would love to go there on a restocking day and grab an entire rack of MU figures and then pay em off on a paycheck or request they set aside a case or something, because most times I get there which isn't often I'm left with multiple mrs marvels which I have , the odd figure I don't have but not rushing to get most of the time...

I'm in Miami.

Recently the Target by my house has been pretty good with Marvel U. They have a ton of Juggernauts, A.I.M. Agents, and Colossus, a few Kitty Prydes, and there is always one or two Havoks and Archangels (only the variants). From the previous wave they have pretty much everyone except Thor (found him at Walmart).

A friend of mine ended up at the Walmart in Florida City and managed to snag for me the Daken/Venom comic pack. He said the had a bunch, including the other two pack with Cyclops/Jean. No single figures though.

hmm i think this is already BAD HABIT for hasbro when they release all their product...combine new series with old series, because not all fans and collector likes their stuff or the way they sell the product. maybe they do this its because their stock for oldies already too much in their 'GARAGE" hehehe

Wal-Mart discontinued their Layaway program a few years ago. In its place is their Site-to-Store pickup area.

The reason I was given for cancelling the program is that participation had dropped to the point that they could no longer continue to fund it. Which makes sense, considering how much product they would have to hold, and that if an item went on sale while in layaway, the consumers got the adjusted price automatically.

Is that a paint variant on the Hulk? I feel like I'm stalking the toy aisle at this point. Excuse me while I run out in the back yard real quick, fall to my knees and scream, "I'M NEVER GOING TO OWN THEM ALL!"
