I saw both of those today, but I only bought the more sought after Storm/Nightcrawler. I do want Phoenix but I figure anything with Cyclops will become common and eventually on sale.

maybe they do that to show the event, new AVENGERS team member i think...
Yes, new for the sculpt but not for the figures. hasbro always give new sculpt, new design, new color repaint, etc BUT always the same figures and for me thats the same = (. really want fresh figures from them

I saw the Dark Spidey/Wolvy pack yesterday. Wolvy had no head, I should have snapped a photo.

I can't wait for an Ares, but marvel boy I can deal without.

But yeah I picked up both sets at wal-mart the other day, I LOVE the venom/daken pack. The pheonix, is cool, but cyclops is a let down.

They are two of the best figures in the entire MU line. Hasbro is really hitting its stride with these latest figures that they're putting out. The Daken/SM pack is easily the best 2-pack they have put out, quality wise. They feel as if they were single pack releases and don't suffer from the poor paint apps that plagued the first few waves of 2-packs.

Damn, in-fighting and they haven't even been bought yet! I wonder what Daken said to piss off Max.

Yeah, that works for me.

It could be the same reason very few consider Hulk an Avenger. His stint was so brief, most seem to forget it. Of course, Hulk left of his own accord instead of being dismembered.

Despite those reasons i'd love an Ares figure and Marvel boy simply to recreate that iconic pic of the Dark Avengers

I NEED an Ares. MU needs an Ares.

Marvel Boy would be HELLA easy. You know how Hasbro is...REPAINTS!

New head sculpt and use the Gaurdian body. OR Black Spidey Body.

See thats where I differ on this one. Black spidey needs to be retired, it has had it's time and truth be told it is one of those bodies that you either love or truly hate.

I think Hasbro needs a new "slim" body mold altogether.

I honestly don't see that happening.

People may hate it but you cannot deny it makes for a great body al around. At least, better than the human torch. The one body that need to be fully gone is DD. They continually throw him in there!!!

I also think a new even "smaller" body need to be made for short characters such as wolverine. I have to pose my Wolverine almost in a crouching position.

REGARDLESS. We need new body sculpts. ESPECIALLY for female. I remember last Q&A they said the new female body wiul be used with X-23 but they said it would be a while until we get her!

They could have brought out Ares and Hercules as one of those greatest battles comic packs instead of Thor/Cap/Wolverine//ironman figs that we all already have
