sorry maybe my statement is too harsh but, i just found about this and very shocked !!!! what the hell hasbro thinking to release again the new line of comic 2 pack with again winter soldier (this 3rd time we see this gut after the one from single MU series and capt 1st avengers movie line) & capt (again and again)...also they have croos bones and new bucky capt (also this is 3rd time we saw after the gigantic battle and the one from movie wave 1/2)..check about the picture below, expected release on July 2011 :

why habits like this go over and over again, we always see the same product but with different theme or version but still they all the same, gosh !!! i mean they can produce more characters in marvel universe/comic line beside over and over that figure, hows your opinion guys ???

Im not surprised at all and at the same time disappointed with them keep doing this.

At least that gives some of us a chance to pick up a crossbones but its another set that only one figure is needed and the other figure has been mass produced over and over and over again.

Very disappointed they would release anything captain america related, especially TWO sets cap related while a CAPTAIN AMERICA ENTIRE SERIES is currently on the market.. So I agree with op.

well, atleast these are coming AFTER we get that awesome Wonderman/Quicksilver 2 pack.

I wont be getting this, as I have those figures already. not to mention, to me, these look more like store exclusives than regular comic packs. I mean usually movie figures in 2packs(Or more) are more akin to a store exclusive.

Are you guys really bitching about this?

This is Hasbro's main M.O.

I'm not surprised and I actually look forward to this because it means more availability, plus a comic.

I really don't have a problem with the Bucky Cap/Crossbones pack, since Crossbones seems to be one of the harder figures to find and this gives us an another chance to get it as well as a Bucky Cap with a non-gimmick shield.

Repacks, thats why it is bad. Instead of coming out with fresh new figures, they just repack what is already out there which has been done over and over and over again and its a little tiring as there are so many figures that we are all waiting on to be made.

I am fine with this. I personally don't see the big deal. If I can't find Crossbones in a single pack, along with Bucky Cap, I can just git the comic pack. Or the other way around =D

Soooo, what we got here...

-Crossbones with an even more militant paint job. Awesome! I'd have bought that even on a single card!!

-Bucky Cap. Meh. I can't see a really big difference between this one and the and the CAP:TFA version. Hopefully is RW&B is still metallic. Oh well. I'll be happy to have this one and keep him more "traditional" (ie: without awesome tac harness and BP).

-Winter Soldier. Black outfit. Well, you can never go wrong with a black outfit (unless it's a movie).

-Cap. Unless this one has articulated wrists along with a double-jointed elbow, lame metallic scales ain't gonna matter.

He does have the normal shield.

True. I hate that the new Cap line is making you pick and choose who gets a "good" shield. Currently my Ultimate Cap is the odd man out.

But you're right. Crossbones + normal shield makes this CP a "buy on sight" item.

The only way I'll have a problem with this is if they clog the pegs and keep me from finding other new packs that I actually want. Which is a definite possibility.

Now that I agree with. I want a Thunderstrike or Eric Masterson Thor figure already!

If this is indeed a "perfect Cap" I'll pick it up. I already have a spare belt to add to give him pouches, making it "perfect" to me.

These sets are good for those who can't find crossbones and buckcap. That set comes with a regular shield and 2 guns that afaik do not come with single card crossbones nor buckap

If you're talking about those submachine guns, those are included with the single packed Crossbones.

It'll make it easier for those that can't find Crossbones single packed at least. I'm considering his pack for that reason alone.

Considering it for that and the shield too. The one buckcap comes with on single cards is huge and heavy. Hope the shield has straps like on movie cap, the straps make that thing the best shield hasbro has made EVER
