I'm so pissed at that movie. They got so many things right, but then they let Matt Smith just say "Fuck it, I'm just doing whatever because I don't care about this film," and the last act was a mess. It was better than the Venom movies though.

I saw the new Ghostbusters. Not bad. May be the best sequel the series has had to date.

Watched Rise of the Planet of the Apes. Pretty good start to what would turn out to be one of the greatest trilogies ever. The end credits scene has a whole new meaning nowadays.

Also saw Godzilla x Kong New Empire. I didn't hate it.

I just wrapped up Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heroes again and damn it I want more. Even when the second season took a bit of a nosedive thanks to Loeb it was still better than anything they've done after.

If they can bring back X-Men TAS I want this brought back too. I can only imagine how awesome the introduction of Thanos and an adaptation of Infinity Gauntlet would've been.

Ppor Things - More like poor you for actually watching this boring ball of nothingness. The movie was beautifully shot and had a lot of great atmosphere when it was in B&W. The moment it went into color it just started spiraling into random scenes that went nowhere until it ended. I've seen worse, but it was just another one of those movies that was made to be Oscar bait.

Lisa Frankenstein - I was expecting this to be nothing but cringe and terrible but I ended up having a really fun time with it. It was certainly way better than that garbage wannabe porno that was Poor Things.

Sunset Boulevard - 10/10

Dune Part 2. They ruined Chani. In the novels she was this strong, confident and supportive woman. She understood who Paul was, what he was becoming and how important it was to support him. In this film she is written as a petulant, angst ridden quick to anger child who storms off if there's something that irritates her. And basically EVERYTHING irritates her.

So she's written like an actual teenager?

Madame Web - They really need to stop doing super hero movies that have no super heroes in them. Like seriously, if I wanted to watch boring ass people in plain clothes with super powers I would watch Heroes, not a comic book movie. Also, what the hell was up with them turning Ezekiel into a villain???? That was completely disrespectful to JMS' mentor figure. I will give it this positive though, it was still better than Quantumania.

Just finished watching X-Men '97, Fallout, and Masters of The Universe 200x seasons 1 and 2. Enjoyed all three series with only minor nitpicks. Last movie I (re)watched was American Movie. Always a fun time!

Excited for more X-Men and Fallout. NOT excited for the wait. Sad there's not more MOTU (Don't have Netflix). Might restart and finally finish Fallout 4 soon, lol.

The Driver - I've been wanting to see this Neo-Noir for quite some time. I liked it, but I didn't love it. There was very little in the way of character development, but the story was engaging and I loved how no one had a name, it was just the Driver, Cop, Player, Glasses, etc. The lighting was great, but I can't say it was the best looking 4K I had ever seen. Though, that might have just been the way it was filmed. I'm glad to own it, but it won't be one I revisit often as I would rather rewatch To Live and Die in LA first.

In the film? Yes. In the books she is very much a leader and it's easy to see why Paul loves her. She's also described as beautiful. Zendaya looks more like a 14 year old boy to me. Watching the films I kept asking myself what he saw in her. But if I'm being 100% honest I didn't like how Paul was portrayed either. He's almost equally as petulant. It sucks too because there are areas of both films that I absolutely love. The characterizations of the central protagonists are not among those things.

I'd love to watch Star Wars in 4K, but they have yet to put the original theatrical versions in that format.

Godzilla Minus One - 10/10 I don;t think I can say anything new about this I hadn't already said. It's one of the greatest Godzilla movies ever and the 4K disc does not disappoint!
