I think most of us here can relate in some way.
Did you lose, or parents gave away, or any reason, did not have your childhood toy and desperately wish you'd not lost, or had kept it? I lost almost all of my childhood toys in a move from Mass to Maryland. My first Transformer was Jetfire, I got it for Christmas in '84 and I remember it was a Matsushiro Jetfire (an early variant of him, I found out some 20 years later) which, I became obsessed to replace, I got a C9 loose one some years ago, and then, I laid down a lot on ebay for an unused/unapplied MIB one. Now I have LOTS of toys, mostly TFs and GI Joes, and great memories, but every time I see my Jetfire I smile and think of better times, it just takes me back to that day as a 6 yr old on Christmas where it all began. I feel the same about my 85 Snake Eyes and Timber, but he is one of the few that survived along with Prime, even though I lost his weapons lol

When I was 12 years old, I sold my entire MOTU collection in a garage sale for $1 a piece!
This is my one and only regret.

I took this Spider-Man everywhere I went until I lost him... Pocket Super Heroes: Spider-Man I could have sworn mine had the webbing details painted black though. I also lost my vintage Luke Skywalker. Rebelscum.com: Vintage Star Wars Photo Archives |

I gave my Fortress Maximus to my younger cousins and they played with it until it fell apart. I don't regret losing that one so much (kids deserve decent toys) but I picked up a stripped-down, headless Fort Max at a yard sale last summer and sold it on Ebay. That one, I miss.

Now that Human Alliance is out, I wish I had kept Alternators Jazz.
Can't think of anything else I've lost that I really want back that bad. Besides for maybe some of the Rockman Kits from bandai I've got that are pretty much obliterated mostly into shrapnel... Still miffed I never found Duo from that line either. Actually thinking back now, I miss the original Y-wing I had as a kid. Sold it in a garage sale as well, though I did manage to save the original Real Ghostbuster Ghost Trap, the Y-wing is long gone sadly, and no way in heck am I spending the cash to get another. |

I have almost every Z-Bot from the first and second series, but when I was at Target I was playing with one and lost it. Since its series two which was weird in that it was sort of series one still, but not, it's hard to find on ebay. That doesn't make any sense.
Anyway, I lost this tiny robot and I've always lamented it. It was a cool little guy. |

My original AT-AT and Millenium Falcon are two of my biggest regrets. Both got sold in a yard sale just before we moved back to the States.
But my biggest regret is selling a complete Pirahnacon to my sister's ex-boyfriend, just because Nautilator's jaw gun port was broken. Sadly, this was before I had discovered Botcon or even Ebay, where I could have easily gotten a replacement and still owned a complete set of Seacons with all accessories. It still burns me to this day, and I have yet to replace it. I thought about getting the club exclusive, but I want the original colors.

You know I actually still have a lot of the toys I played with as a kid. I'm sure there are a few that got lost over the years but none that spring to mind.
I did however sell a lot of my high priced transformers a few years ago to help finance a LCD TV. And out of those I sold, I regret getting rid of Scorponok. He was minty fresh and complete. I know I can always buy one at any time, and I may some day, but I miss having that brick around. |

Yeah, it really sucks when things of yours get sold without your knowledge. I also lost my big box of Hot Wheels/Matchbox cars from childhood because my mom thought I didn't want them after I moved out.

I forgot about those... my Joes from childhood disappeared somehow, as well. I didn't have very many, but I had good times with them.
Now I'm a 'Joe addict lol

I remember my grandma picking up some sort of Cobra Command Center for me as a kid to play with at her house. It was a huge, white Colosseum looking structure with a ton of moving parts. Unfortunately, my cousins were idiots and destroyed it the first chance they got.

Though I still regret the loss of my Millenium Falcon, I no longer miss my old AT-AT as I was able to pick up the new version for only $50 on clearance (100x better than the original anyway).
Now to see if I can convince my wife to let me get that Pirahnacon re-issue, if it's still available....

Ooo...probably my two Beast Wars-era combiners (Tripredacus and Magnaboss). I spent so much time messing around with those guys when I was a kid, and lost them all when my parents sold my original Transformers toys (about three months before I went crazy for TFs )
That, or figures like Rattrap who command crazy prices now. |
