Christmas is fast approaching and I am super excited. Do you have any favorite Christmas song, any particular tune that encapsulates the Christmas experience and what makes it so special? A song that puts you in a worshipful spirit and brings back a special Christmas memory?
Also, what's your favorite thing to do during Christmas other than opening presents?

"White Christmas" is probably my favorite holiday tune (and the title of my 2nd favorite X-Mas movie). A close runner-up is "The Chipmunk Song".

Favorite thing to do during X-Mas besides opening presents: watching holiday movies.

Tough question. I would say little drummer boy by David Bowie and Bing Crosby. Great song. My favorite thing to do on and around Christmas, shopping for others. I try to get done with my list at the end of November and beginning of December and I love how all the stores and malls are decorated and the Santa Claus' are out and about.

I like that Mariah Carey song that goes, "All I want for Christmas... is MU." LOL.

I like most Christmas carols and songs. My favorite is "Silent Night."

My favorite Christmas activity is wrapping presents, followed closely by midnight mass.

Jingle bells, Batman smells, Robin laid an egg. The Batmobile lost a wheel and the Joker got away. (I know, I'm mature for my age)

I really enjoy having the house decorated and the Christmas tree lit up. Lighting a few candles and playing some old Christmas records while enjoying drink with the woman. I've always loved the way the lights from the Christmas tree reflect off all the surfaces in the room. Very calming.

Another song I love, which I heard today on the radio, is Rockin Around the Christmas Tree, which reminds me of Home Alone, which makes me think of Christmas.

I like a lot of Christmas songs, traditional and modern, but I cannot get through Christmas without at least one listen of Root Boy Slim's Christmas at K-Mart.

Home Alone is a Christmas classic. Worthy of watching every year, right along with It's a Wonderful Life, A Christmas Carol and How the Grinch Stole Christmas (the cartoon, not the Jim Carrey movie). Home Alone's soundtrack is great and has some great Christmas tunes.

Agreed. I would add to that list A Christmas Story, White Christmas, Miracle on 34th St and Die Hard.

...what? It's a holiday movie. No, really!

Oh, and another song I love to listen to around this time is Weird Al's "Christmas at Ground Zero." Truly a classic.
