Hey guys,

New here and looking for any "first X-Men" or "Giant Size" X-Men figures. Last year I bought Marvel Legends All New X-Men set from Toys R' Us. (Images Attached) I really love anything in the classic black/yellow, blue/yellow suits with the original team. (Human Beast, Iceman, Marvel Girl/ Jean Grey, Cyclops, Angel) But also anything of the Giant Size X-Men
(Colossus, Thunderbird, Nightcrawler,Cyclops,Wolverine,Storm)

Any cool figures or sets available I'd love to hear about. Pictures would be awesome!

Thanks

The most recent classic costume (specifically early 80s or before) X-Men figures from Marvel Legends are the Cyclops and Dark Phoenix 2-pack (2017):

Sunfire (2017):

Dazzler (2017):

Phoenix (2016):

and Brown Costume Wolverine (2016):

I know not all of it is quite what you were asking for, but that's all the stuff from that era or near it since Marvel Legends started doing X-Men characters again in 2016 after stopping in 2014.

EDIT: first of all, just in case the Brown Costume look does interest you, Hasbro did reveal a rerelease of that Brown Costume Wolverine I showed earlier, but with a slightly lighter brown and an alternate unmasked head, as part of their ToyBiz homage Vintage line, at SDCC this year:

But more importantly to your interests, Hasbro also revealed at SDCC a 12" Wolverine in his classic tigerstripe costume, and it looks pretty great:

EDIT 2: Whoops, nearly forgot to mention, the Build-A-Figure of the wave Brown Costume Wolverine (the first 2016 release, not the Vintage wave rerelease) and Phoenix were in was Juggernaut:

Probably Amazon, except for the Dark Phoenix 2-pack; that one's a TRU exclusive, and was pretty scarce up until recently, where you can find it on their website for normal price. All the others you can probably find on Amazon for slightly less than MSRP, except for Brown Costume Wolverine. That one you might want to wait for the rerelease of in the Vintage line, with slightly lighter brown and an unmasked head, when it releases at Walgreens this fall (probably around November). That 12" Wolverine will probably come out next year, at around $50. For Juggernaut, though, unless you want to buy the whole wave (Brown Costume Wolverine, 90's Rogue, Phoenix, Uncanny Avengers Havok, Modern Kitty Pryde, Modern-ish Iceman, Modern Cable, and Marvel NOW! Deadpool [although he doesn't come with a part to make Juggernaut]), you might want to look on eBay for completed Juggernaut BAFs, or sites like DorkSideToys who sell completed BAFs (although they don't and likely won't have Juggernaut for sale, because it came out last year and was quite popular).

Thanks so much.....I made a couple of purchases and got these. Now starting to worry that the 2 giant size x-men sets are almost identical. But looks like one includes banshee and sunfire and the other has cyclops and wolverine. Probably 2 different issues with similar figures with slightly different decos.

Those two Giant-Size X-Men sets are actually incredibly different. The one with Banshee and Sunfire are not-very-articulated 5" figures made by ToyBiz in the mid-90s, while the one with Cyclops and Wolverine is a Marvel Universe (super-articulated 3.75" scale) set from 2011 by Hasbro. Entirely different in basically every way except the subject matter.

It's coming out in November as a Walgreens exclusive, like the rest of the Vintage wave (Wolverine, Captain America, Spider-Man, Punisher, Iron Man, and Black Widow). They're all basically slightly-improved rereleases of previously-released figures, except for Iron Man (it's technically a release of a previously-cancelled Iron Man figure first shown in 2010/2011 that was similar to one they did release in 2012) and Black Widow (basically just a more classic-looking version of the one they're releasing with a bike soon).

Yea I have always been a fan of the early X-Men comics and loved the 60's-70's outfits. Thunderbird was a bad dude even though he died.
