What are you getting/asking for X-MAS?

For those of us Arkers who celebrate Christmas/the Holidays, it's a time to give and recieve presents. So I wanted to make a thread, where we can post our Christmas wish lists, what we plan to be getting our friends, family, and maybe even helpful advice like "anybody looking for a ______ ?" they're on at walmart for $12.99 etc. We all find it stressful buying the perfect gift for him or her so this way as a team/community we can help eachother out with suggestions to better eachother, that way she doesn't end up with a powerdrill and he doesn't end up with fuzzy slippers, unless they ask for it :P.

Myself I've been buying jewelry like a madman off this Chinese seller for my gf and sister, just stocking stuff type stuff, but I got like 18 pieces including rings, braclets, chains,pendants and earings for under $20 shipped! 1 pair of earings alone was $25 at a local shop! I've picked up replacement fucky blackberry cases for her like spongbob and hello kitty. I plan on getting her some clothes, maybe 1 of the new ipod nano's, and she really want a nice battery operated..... love my gf haha. as far rest of the family mom will be getting a gc to reitmans or winners, dad will get gc for a nice meal out. My sister and me just trade tattoo gc's haha so it works out. Stepdad gets nothing because he's a douche, and my nana will get a nice spa day treatment. I'm actually doing a painting for my father-in-law since he requested it, mother-in-law nice bottle of wine.

Personally myself I haven't asked for anything, there's some arkers on here who I'd like to be getting stuff from, you know who you are lol, I maybe asking for $$ to buy what I want this year, rather then giving a list, as I download all my music and movies, and not much interests me in video games these days. I may ask for some clothes and gc to walmart. Does anybody ask for toys or feel too old to ask for them? I kinda do so I've just been asking for gift certificates (gc) to walmart,zellers, comic shops etc.

Ps x-mas is 49 days away!

I don't ask for much. Just items I wouldn't get myself, like a movie or some clothes. Don't really care what I get as long as it's something I will use or enjoy. Though if something does come up I'll be sure to drop in.

That or I'm stumped on gift ideas.

Sounds good, well myself I'm terrible for picking things I want for xmas besides toys, plus most of the toys I want you can't buy at retail only through online/other collectors. Plus I hate asking for toys, lol. This year is somewhat of a practical year, my mom is getting my passport for me and my gf, gonna ask my dad to drop $50 and renew my liscence as I plan on getting mom's car after xmas sometime. Other then that maybe some clothes, maybe the tpain mic hahah. But this thread can be used to give others ideas to add to their own want list, or ideas to get other people.

As far as gf's/wives etc, we all know their likes and dislikes but fuck it if I'm going to remember her shirt,pant, boot,jacket,tshirt,bra,panty size haha giftcard! and pick up a thoughtful card to put it in, that way it shows you care enough to pick out a thoughtful card and thoughtful enough not to get a xxl sweater and cause an xmas fight haha. For us older arkers, a really nice bottle of liqour is always a nice thing to get/give as you won't get drunk off it in 1 night it's something you have a glass of every now and then, before my grandfather died he gave me a 60yr old bottle of scotch, still have like half of it, damn good shit lol.

As for other stuff,hopefully the GI Joe Zombie-Viper will be showing up,id love one of those,and theres a new Halo art book out which collects concept work,character/vehicle/location designs across all the Halo games that i would love to add to my Making of.....library......

As far as toys: I asked my wife for the Transformers battle and moonlight walmart exclusive set with movie optimus w/trailer, ratchet & crankcase, DC Comic pint glasses with Bats, Sups, GL & WW on them, and I will be asking for tons of shows on DVD as well as Marvel U toys I'm too cheap to buy myself unless they are bogo

like wrecker or aim soldier which are easy to come by around these parts. the rest is up to her and I trust her judgement as she has a history of win in picking presents for me like our first Christmas she got me Vol 4 of the X-men cartoon the one with Beyond Good & Evil which is still one my favorite stories

the one thing i ask from my folks is gift cards, aka the collectors best friend. Seriously, in like 2 months, i could eat through those with all the MU i spend money on. Embarrassingly, the folks still ask me to write down what id like for christmas.....mostly cause they dont know any of the MU characters I buy or specific TF's.

I actually haven't asked for anything nor do I really know anything I want. I have however almost finished my xmas shopping and ideally will be done by the end of november. I might order myself the batman reborn batgirl for xmas depends on funds and what not.
