It doesn't help to work in the hot rod field either. Constantly "having to go to car shows and deal with Celebrities". I spend all day with big kid toys and go home to little kid toys...

1972 Chevrolet Malibu (Chevelle SS Clone)
350 with a Turbo 350 Transmission, horseshoe shifter. Had to borrow money from my brother to get it, was only $4,500 all told with about 65K on a rebuilt original 2-bolt small block, with some dressy aftermarket chrome Edelbrock pieces on the motor (valve covers, air intake, intake manifold, etc.). Just enough car for a teenager to strut without risk of killing himself trying to drag race, though I sure took plenty of other chances.Teenage drivers = dangerous She was a real beaut:

First car was a lake silver 2002 Audi A4 1.8L Quattro Turbo fully loaded with black leather interior and metal Decepticon badge at the rear. LOL. I treated it like my pride and joy. Then I was in a terrible accident with it. Some jackass was speeding like a maniac and we collided with his SUV rolling over. His vehicle was completely destroyed, but he survived with some injuries. I was driving at a safe speed and my car only suffered a broken front bumper from when he fishtailed into me. Airbags didn't even go off. Still have it to this day and it runs great.
